I think the WD match between ZJW/YW and GL/HS in the finals was terrific.They played great especially ZJW.

Kido/Setiawan vs Choong/Lee was a great match, but maybe not as tense as Cai/Fu vs Choong/Lee. I would rate it 2nd best. In both these matches all 4 players played well, whereas in other games including the final you can see 1 or 2 players not lifting their games to potential. The best XD should be GL/ZB vs VM/FL. Like the great MD matches above, you couldn't anticipate who the winner will be till the last moment. The other XD semis was close only because INA pair NW/LN was impatient to close out the match. Otherwise they could have taken it comfortably. Fortunately they were more patient in final. WD - YW/ZJW vs WY/ZY semis was the best with the more experienced pair coming from behind in all 3 games. Great defence too with several point blank saves. WS - ZL vw WMC and ZL vs Yippie the most closely contested. But frankly, none of the matches were classics, the women had more problems with the drift than the men. MS - Anup vs Taufik and Sony vs CY comes to mind.
ChoongTF/LeeWW's dramatic win over FuHF/CaiY in MD's QF might not be the best match but definitely the most exciting ones: MAS pair lost the 1st game 15-21, trailing in the 2nd 16-18, came back by taking the next 5 straight points to bring the match into the rubber. At the 3rd deciding game, the MAS duo again found themselves falling behind 16-19 but again came back from the brink of defeat to grab the next 5 successive points to clinch the victory.
I would concur that the best XD match would be the SF match between Zheng Bo/Gao Ling and Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa, won by the Chinese pair...in 3 sets. It was so so close....in the second set when Flandy/Vita were leading 19-18, only to lose the set 19-21 and eventually the match For the MD, I didn't watch the QF match between Fu Haifeng/Cai Yun vs Choong Tan Fook/Lee Wan Wah, so, my vote will go the the SF match between the World Champion Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan and Choong Tan Fook/Lee Wan Wah. Kido/Hendra were trailing until late in the first set at 17-19 before they got 3 straight points to lead 20-19 and take the set 22-20. There was more drama in the 3rd set as Choong/Lee were on the verge of taking the set at 20-19 only for Kido/Hendra to level it at 20-20 to set off a nail-biting battle with Choong/Lee having 5 more game points and Kido/Hendra having 1 match point. The game went to the Indonesian pair at their second match point. What a match....
The MD SF between MAS & INA pairs wasn't the best in terms of Quality. Couple of unforced errors by the MAS pair & Shuttles affected by the Drift for INA Pair did no help too. But it was some exciting & heart-breaking moments towards the ends of both sets...
Yup, it was a bit unlucky for INA. One of the best matches. It should be the 2nd set. The match could've gone either way. The INA pair just played the crucial points better. One of the best matches.
XD FL VW VS GL ZB and again they meet after sudirman cup and gave us great matches. I'd like to see FL VM meet NW LN..... wow.... I can't wait for it... MS Sony vs Lin Dan Set 2 only... Taufik VS Anup didn't watch it. How about Sony vs PG???? MD : I dunno maybe I prefer Tony Chandra vs other pair. WHat do ya think???
the best matches of my choiches : 1. TH vs Anup... TH admitted he was panic when Anup could catch up from 13:18 (3rd set), it's very rare to see TH panic 2. CTF/LWW vs Cai/fu .. Good fighting spirits from CTF/LWW 3. CTF/LWW vs MK/HS... 6 times game points were not enough for CTF/LWW 4. Flandy/Vita vs ZB/GL... i wished flandy was 5 years younger
