the micropower 0.66mm has long been an issue here... steve crandall, ashaways vp says that all MP's are 0.70 mm... it must be a typographical error.. :) as of now, i use bg 66... i'm in a tropic country so i guess strings expand more as compared to northern and southern hemisphere countries.. good thing i don't break strings like dink.. lol

Hi Mr Bic I've sent email to Steve Crandall personally before, and he convinced me that the Micropower .66mm is for S.East Asia market due to the customers demand.

Go to the Ashaway website and email to him.He will be so glad to answer your question regarding on .66mm Micropower.I knew it was not in US market, that why Sir Dink havent try it.Anyway the .66mm string durability is not for him.

This is correct, I've spoken with Steve about the string thickness differences among the markets. The U.S. gets 0.70mm for MP, no thinner.

what? how come? they told me that the MP was 0.70 two years back.. and for two years, i kept on buying the US MP instead of the ASIAN MP.... i should have tried the 0.66mm before.. :(

Sor far I've tried the Ashaway top 3 most repulsive string.
    1)Micropower .66mm (most repulsive) + soft feel & control.
    2)Microlegend .69mm (2nd)
    3)PG 66 .66mm (3rd). Even the pg66(3rd) is more repulsive than Yonex BG66.

    BG65: Durable (becoz it's thick)
BG66: Nice "pcazzz" sound (becoz it's thin)
Nanogy: In between, but less control... TRY THIS THOUGH! (Quite expenisive...)

For smashing, maybe the NBG98 is better - for allround play, it's not. BG80 has much better grip and a harder feel. If your elbow and shoulder can take the hard feel, there's a big chance you will prefer it.

It also depends how much you cut your shots, and prefer control over power.
