sadly INA could not get even 1 title this tourney.... it's dry week for INA as few weeks before INA normally get 2 titles every week...
Thank you for sharing... ..Sasho, thanks for sharing the pics and what you saw in the matches.. Looking at the last pic, i take it this the gym where the BWF's Sofia World Badminton Training Center is located?.. Anymore pics??..
Yes. SWBTC is located in the "Borisova Gradina" park -- it is near the centre of the city and close to the diplomatic district. All the professional and some of the amateur players train there, but only from late Mart to the begining of December, because the hall is property of the Tennis Federation and they can't play outdoor when it is cold. So, during winter the professional players go to a school gym at the end of Sofia, where only few amateur players are allowed. Other amatuers have some other options -- there are other gyms -- not as good, but acceptable for the winter
It was amazing to see only players who lost carrying their national flags with them... But the winners din't
probably that winners didnt bring their national flags or too lazy to ask to organizers right be4 the medals ceremonies......
The worst scenario and the worst scenario happened... :crying: Oh well, this is sports! It reminds us of how it feels to be a country going home with no title... like the 2007 World Championships when CHN went home with 3, INA went home with 2 titles... One more try at the Dutch Open, guys...
INA players are just the most patriotic in this tournament... We can't expect all players from all countries to be as nationalistic...
Maybe they do not expect to go this far in the tournament so they did not bring along their national flag
