    Hello all,

I don't know if people pay attention to grips but I have a question for those that do. I just recently bought an AT 700 (old version) and the seller gripped it for me after I bought it so I had no time to look at the original grip. Once I started using it, I noticed that the grip seemed kind of bumpy. I unwrapped the overgrip and saw that the original grip was actually filled with grooves on the underside. Are the grooves supposed to better your grip or decorations or what? Should I:

    a) Take off the original grip and double grip the racket so it ends up with no bumps

    b) leave as is

no there isnt any mechanical advantage in having grooves.
