Yep. Riko is exact replica of Akane yamaguchi. Even her serve and body language everything looks like akane

It took a while for Christo popov to figure RCM's game. Once he figured out, it was one way traffic

Can Li Yun handle back-to-back tournaments, esp when she made it to the semis last week ? Maybe not.

Bulgarian-born French player Christo Popov creates big headline, the only European representative among Asian domination in WJC semifinal, has secured at least bronze medal. Popov knocked out China Ren Cheng Ming yesterday, stamped authority with his attacking shots after dropping opening game. He will take on another Chinese opponent, Li Yun Ze who got free semifinal ticket following MAS player Goh Wyman walkover. Meanwhile two-time World Junior Champs Kunlavut Vitidsarn avenges his team event defeat to Bobby Setiabudi in three games, at the glimpse Vitidsarn style resemblances with Momota but still far away from the Japanese hotshot.

Riko Gunji, an agile player with solid retrieving skill and nice placement frustrates Indonesian Putri K.Wardani who targeting to clinch gold medal here post Suhandinata Cup victory. Interesting match how this potential Japanese talent will deal with top-seed Phittayaporn Chaiwan today where Gunji has negative head to head stats, 0-2. China assures one final ticket as Zhou Meng will take on compatriot Dai Wang.

It is the first medal ever for France in a World Junior Championship.
Popov is from a badminton family: his father was the coach of Bulgaria.
Christo is a left-hander but his older brother Toma Junior is a right-hander.
He seems to be playing with Momota's ASTROX 99.

Pai Yu Po sensing Wang Zhiyi is getting a bit tired, is playing lots of fast clears and lifts, and then dropshots to bring her forward while waiting for any attacking opportunity.

Christo popov reached finals , defeating another chinese li yunze. I must say li yunze didn't have any strategy, whereas popov has speed and power which rattled li starting from the beginning. Now popov will face none other than kunlavut. Will he able to create history for France?

Looks like Wang Zhiyi also cannot do well in back-to-back tournaments, obviously tiring now in G2.

The Russian Kosetskaya denies Zhang Yiman a place in the final. Well done.
