since LD is meeting other Chinese player in SF, I do not think that Zhao will be allowed to compete for the victory in this one :) so then only final match for LD against Liu or Tsuneyama

Nah, Chinese coaches don't care for LD anymore. He wasn't even picked for the Sudirman Cup.

Goh/Tan almost blew it, from leading 17-12 to 21-19.
    They are to the final.

Such a surprising outcome, host KOR represented by full squad here, Kim/Kong, Lee/Shin, Baek/Jung, Chang/Kim, three pairs had been ousted earlier except Lee/Shin.
An SY studied Akane Yamaguchi very well, retrieving almost the shots and frustrating her opponent, too many mistakes by the Japanese starlet. Hard to believe it's the same person who lost to Ruselli Hartawan last week, plausible reason is unfamiliar and underestimated lower-ranked rival or still lack of exposure since she's just 17 years old.

I just saw the match of ASY vs Yamaguchi, you have to give credit to ASY. She did exactly what Yamaguchi usually do to others. Exact replica but advance version of it. I meant the retrieval part. When ASY gets older , she will be scary to all the top players. She does not have so many weaknesses. She is almost free of unforced errors. Her game is clearing game . She does it perfectly.

so you have to be really naive to think that Zhao and LD match score represents real situation, unfortunately for him Liu has lost in SF, so lets see how he will stand against Tsuneyama...

    1. Your use of the term "starlet" is quite inappropriate.

    2. I doubt that AY is "underestimating" anyone at the moment. She's finished five of her last seven tournaments in the first round, and at the two tournaments where she's gotten further, she's lost to players ranked below her (including ASY).
    She's simply still playing badly.
