I string for a mate his 3 arc11 regular @ 30/32. The problem is not the racket, the problem is that alot stringers are not very comfortable with high tensions. You must change grommets very often, string quick but clean without any mistakes, have good knots etc. You must be a good stringer with much experience, have a good machine and the racket in good condition to do such jobs without breakage. IMO it's good that most shops have a limit. I never broke a racket, but if a shop breaks a customers racket, then he will get a bad reputation. If somebody wants something damn high he must take all risks and sign a paper. Then I will do anything.
Yup..limit is 24lbs..some stringers dont want take risk if racket broken during restring..some said that arc fram not strong enough compare to voltric..is it right?
Please count in that the average stringer maximum have mediocre skills, compared to a big canon like you or Paul or Alan.
Oops, I misread that. I thought op said that max recommended tension from Yonex is 28lbs. But seriously, the max tensions from Yonex for their rackets are a joke...
Ah, well - I read the question as "can the racket take it?", and technically, the answer is "yes". You definitely have to dial in cowboy stringers, though.
yeah arc11 can definitely be strung up to 30lbs. had mine strung @ 30lbs with the yonex digital machine (es5pro) consistently with no problem. it all comes down to the stringer's ability
