2009 All-England Badminton Championships: Will Tuafik meet Lin Dan at the Finals ???

    .
It would be expected that LD would be charged up with more energy to face Taufik.

Most of us know that LD is more of a 'Speed & Power' player, while TH is a laid back 'Skill & Technique' one.

    But we shouldn't discount LCW.

The next match (TH-LCW) is more important for TH, before TH thinks of facing LD.

    :):):)

hmm, taufik hidayat is very strong in this tournament as i said earlier.
i can see lee chong wei might fall to his hand in today's semi final.
but anything can happen in the match/.
still have faith in chong wei!:)
    all the best!:)

this is so funny... even though I think LD would be the favorite... why is the option of playing CJ not even considered? CJ's defense would be the type of player to piss of TH enough to beat him ^^

It's great to see TH fitter and more motivated than expected.
    TH's advantage is his unpredictability.
PG was clueless what he should do.And why was MF not the coach?Or maybe he's the coach for the Danes in Asia tournaments?
Whether TH reaches final or not,he won't win this year. There's always next year.
It'll be shocking if LD does not win the title, with such a stroll of a draw.

th vs lcw is gonna be one exciting match... looking at how good th in this ae... he definitely now got good chance of beating lcw... hope lcw can focus and makes less errors and definitely not let th lead in big margin like what happen with ville lang this morning... if he did, not sure he could get back on time to win the game... lcw fighting!

I've never seem humbler opinions on a match like this. Everyone is respecting each other's camp (except indra of course ;):D). Seems like everyone is cautious not to tread on anyone's toes.

My thoughts are TH will win in 2 tight games or LCW will take it in 3. As a match goes further, one's capacity to perform to a very fine level diminishes and that's where TH's brilliant net play might not be as precise as he needs it to be. Just my opinion, but expecting a titanic encounter :):).

Players with ultimate speed like LD and LCW might be able to handle TH's unpredictability a little better

Did you watch the game today? If you did you'll notice PG's supposed speed was of little use against TH's craftiness and net pay. What you need is to be able to out-think him. Easier said than done. I don't envy LCW's task.

    Let me summarize:
    - tried to outssmash TH... couldn't
    - tried to outplay him at the net... abject failure
    - tried to outrally him... too easy for TH
    - tried to outlast him... never got the chance

In the end, PG ran out of ideas, and of points
