Against: He has yet to have played a really competitive game and is being thrown straight in at the deep end with LCW who, as a workhorse, will surely have a very high pace.
Well, I am confused. TH's inconsistency has thrown me off. I was sure this match would be close but it looked like TH came to play in his pyjamas. I don't really know if the score suggests TH played badly or LCW played well; probably a bit of both. Anyway, fair on both sides of the SF that the winner advances with ease. Thank you TH for winding the clock back for at least one match (v PG). It was thrilling to see you still had it.

Yes, it was very pleasing to see the Taufik of old, even if it was only once in the 4 matches. It was the first time I had seen Taufik ever being so clever with his smash returns - he always put them in unexpected places.
Well TH did try his best to perform well in every match as promised in his blog so credit to LCW for the great effort he did well.
He's being more n more modest these days,as he got family behind him.I'll support u for whatever the result might be,and i will always enjoy to see u play more than any other MS.
It will be an exciting match. To be honest, I much prefer Lin Dan's style of playing as it makes for more interesting viewing, but I still hope Lee Chong Wei wins as payback for OG08 MSF.
With huge expectation... I woke up at 4:30am and anticipate the great match in the making. Unfortunately, I was so bored that I felt asleep during the first few points of the second game, and by the time I opened my eyes again, the score line was LCW at 19 points. Disappointed... Yes. Angry... No. Actually, out of the 6 matches that I watched this morning, at least 4 of them put me into sleep mode.

the only difference between 2004 OG and this 2009 AE is that after beating peter gade in 2004 OG, the coast is clear for TH, unlike in this AE, after beating PG, TH still have has to face some REAL contender(s).
