Haha yeah he likes them. Doesn't work like that though. If you get 3 yellow cards in a season you get $500 fine and then 250 for everyone after that. That's it.

Quite right , just being a bit naughty playing a game seems proportional.

well. she does win things. Playing a bit dirty is tactics. She is just not being too subtle about it. Maybe BWF should enforce those yellow-red cards more? Or even Blacks?

CMs Super Series win over shadowed by her on court antics. It is the repeat of same story with CM shouting at her opponents and being disrespectful. Like in foot ball two yellow cards should result in a match ban or in badminton some points from the game needs to be docked only then rude and arrogant players like CM would learn their lessons. There is no point in having a penalty for yellow card when it does nothing to deter the players from repeating the same offence. CM is a classic case of rotten apples

Gotta hand it to her though, she is fast, powerful, feisty and determined. It's just that she doesn't have to resort to those mind games that she plays to win. Like shoving the shuttle under the net only a few inches into the opponent's court, on the wrong service side.

LOL. Can't believe how you guys are getting so wound up over Marin's antics. She plays to win, who can blame her. Badminton should have some drama and entertainment as well. Just because it's not in the best taste doesn't mean it's all bad.

    Guys please.

There's an interview article on Carolina Marin and Fernando Rivas.

    http://sports.sina.com.cn/others/badmin/2015-11-23/doc-ifxkxfvn8969899.shtml

    Some interesting things mentioned,

    1. Marin is training in a badminton academy in Madrid, with 6 guys and 3 girls. Typically she doesn't spend more 2 hours on the court

    2. Wong Choon Han used to coach her

    3. She does watch videos on Lin Dan and tries to learn some techniques from her.

    4. She will carry on her studies in Psychology after Rio Olympics next year.

Only two hours on court? That seems unreasonable...

Well, I have no problem with her screaming, wasting time is a problem (not only for her). Leaving the court without asking should warrant heavier punishment.
