Scheduled games for Wed 16th May As Chris mentioned above attendance at the Wednesday social has reached a point where we need to schedule games. Those who come to the Friday sessions will be familiar with the scheduling method that we use. I'll run through how it works on the day. The benefits of scheduling: (1) The players for the next game are organised in advance. (2) Players can keep track of the number of games they've played. (3) Better balance to the games that are played. Overall this will afford us a more orderly night. dp

Many players@ccc know that all sessions at CCC Badminton are organised with Scheduled Games, usually organised by chris@ccc. Our Wednesday night session was initially set up as CATS (Coaching And Training Session), not as a Social Session. *Please refer to Post#1 of this thread. Because we eventually allowed 2 courts for Social Games on Wednesday CATS (due to demand from our Social players), CATS was cut down to using just 2 courts. Sometimes, I feel quite inadequate when I am subjected to different forces of opinions... CATS Trainees (now with 8 in our Waiting List) asking to reduce our activities for Social, and Social Players (with an ever-increasing number of players in our Social Games) asking to increase our activities for Social Badminton. Anyway, we hope that our new Sunday@Waverley will meet the requirement from our Social Players. And for those who are new to CCC Badminton, please refer to our Sunday@Waverley thread located at: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43362 As I have always said... "Even though I founded CCC Badminton, I will always let it be driven by our members, subject to that it should be directed/progressed with the aim of encouraging more participation and enjoyment in Badminton".
