We shall start our 'Buy-in List' for CCC CATS at MSAC (our 25th for this year).

On Sunday 31-Aug-2014, we shall be on Court No.1 and 4 (from 10:00am to 12:00noon) in the Badminton hall.

Hope that our 'Buy-in List' can be finalised before the MSAC Booking Office closes on Friday night. Currently, MSAC says that we can add (if available) or subtract courts, when more or fewer trainees are wishing to attend.

If you are unable to attend, kindly remove your name ASAP so that others can replace you. Why? Because there could other trainees wishing to attend (checking to buy-in, up to the last hours), but finding themselves missing out after we have FULL HOUSE..

At our Wednesday Night CCC Social Games Session (27-Aug-2014), Andrew-P said he is rostered on for work on this coming Sunday (31-Aug-2014), and therefore he won't be able to attend.

We shall wait later tonight (Friday 29-Aug-2014) to see what we should do (to postpone our CCC CATS or not).

My guess is:- Our coming Sunday CCC CATS (on 31-Aug-2014) will be postponed gain.

But, I shall post again around midnight tonight (to confirm what we should do).

Sunday CCC CATS at MSAC on 31-Aug-2014 - (A Short Report)

Here is a short report for our Sunday CCC CATS at MSAC held on 31-Aug-2014, our 25th CATS for this year.

We thank trainees for removing themselves from our 'Buy-in List' when unable to attend; therefore opening up vacancies for new trainees wishing to join us.

Reminder:
We usually hope that our 'Buy-in List' can be finalised by Friday. MSAC requires us to confirm our court-booking 24 hours before our session starts; and CCC wish to have 24 hours' notice before we organise/hire our courts from MSAC.

If you are unable to attend, kindly remove your name ASAP so that others can replace you. Why? Because there could other trainees wishing to attend (checking to buy-in, up to the last hours), but finding themselves missing out after we have FULL HOUSE.

Trainees are now to begin ALL warm-up drills with these 2 strokes :-
(1) "Low Service"
(2) "Net Return"
and then, continue with the other strokes of our set drills.
Why? Because we need to train more on these first 2 strokes in a rally.

For this CATS, we worked on 'Low Services'. We videoed each trainee's action and the trajectories of the 'Services'. Hope that our trainees have taken notes from the video made.

Trainees are reminded that our CCC CATS conducts a program which takes around half-a-year to complete. This is to cover all topics as mentioned in Post #1 of this thread, namely;

2 Footwork – Forward (with Bounce)
3 Services – Singles & Doubles (with Underarm Clear)

New changes to our CCC CATS fees are now implemented

Some have questioned/asked me that there is no change (in fees) for our CCC Club members.

Answer: This is correct.

The only change is for visitors attending our Sunday CCC CATS; and there is no change for our Wednesday CCC Social Games Sessions (for visitors and members).
