Please don't book in for another player; Get them to book in themselves . To kitty31, As expected, Yikai-S said he shouldn't need to pay for his missed session (because he wasn't the one to book in). In the end. I didn't feel like arguing with him. May I remind this to all CCCers: Please don't book in for another player; Get them to book in themselves. Our concern is: No player should hold on to a spot/place when unable to attend (while many other players are wishing to play with us). We don't organise our Booking List for fun. Last week, for our Wednesday 20-Mar-2013 session, Bala-S + Sandesh-B asked me to book them in. What happened? They didn't show up (when many phone calls from players were received that they are wishing to play with us). Albert Park Badminton Club is playing at the same time as CCC Badminton Club . By the way, our sister club, Albert Park Badminton Club, told me that the had 43 players for their Wednesday 27-Mar-2013 session. And they sent home many players who arrived late. Yes, Albert Park Badminton Club doesn't use a Booking List system, like we do. May I remind our CCCers that once you have booked in, you are are secured a place/spot to play with us. You can even turn up in the last hour/minutes of our session. .

Reserving places when players are not sure of attending . So quickly, I have received this question: Are we not permitted to book places for more than 1 player? Answer: You can book for more players if you can undertake full responsibility for them. If they don't turn up (and therefore causing our other CCCers to miss out), then you will be fined. Looking at previous weeks' posts, we have no problems with the bookings from; * Shaji-S (booking in for himself, Anish-S, Mohammed-S and Manish-S) * Daniel-S (booking in for himself, Rob-M and Chris-B) * Wen-Y (booking in for himself and Desmond-C) * etc, etc, ...... So far, it's only Jenny-T and Bala-S who have upset our Booking List (reserving places when their players are not sure of attending). .

MSAC requires us to confirm our court-booking 24 hours before. Reminder: If you cannot attend, you will need to be removed before 4:30pm on Wednesday, otherwise you will be charged. Why?
