CCC@Facebook is intended for CCC ANNOUNCEMENTS, whereas

CCC@Badminton Central is intended for CCC DISCUSSIONS.

Oh no... You should have told me earlier. :):):)

You members@ccc do not know how much time I have to spend trying to communicate with you guys.

If you think that Friendster is better, go for it... but for me Badminton Central and Facebook are more than enough.

Let's wait for what our other members@ccc have to say.

As at today, Wednesday 5-Sep-2007, we have 45 members on our CCC@Facebook.

We are wondering why many of our members have not joined yet ? :confused::confused::confused:

Now, we are getting some feedback... :):):)

We have been told by some of our members@ccc, that for some reasons they do not wish to join Facebook. And we respect their feeling.

It was intended that we use Facebook to make announcements only. And from the announcements, links are provided to direct members to the relevant threads for discussions/comments at our forum at CCC@Badminton Central.

Knowing that... for those who haven't joined our CCC@Facebook, they could not read our announcements made there, we will post here what have been written there.

And stated in the Info & News sections of the page, we have...

CCC was formed in the hope that it will help more people enjoy playing Badminton.

A good many of our CCC activities have now been included, namely:
* Social Games
* League Games
* Handicapped Games
* Friendly Inter Club Games
* Coaching And Training Sessions (CATS)
* Annual Club Tournaments for CCC members

One of our members@ccc suggested that we should have a special thread@Badminton Central just for ANNOUNCEMENTS ONLY.

And from this Announcement Thread, we can direct/provide our members with links to our various threads, where certain subjects of discussion or conversation are occurring.

This is a good idea because CCC has grown bigger and some of our members are disoriented when they have a look at our forum for their first time...... so let's try this out. :):):)

Personally... I think Friendster is NOT better.
I have an account with friendster but all my friends are now changing to Facebook simply because it allows you to do more stuff than Friendster.
so... Chris, don't worry... You're on the right track.

there are so many new threads happening under CCC in the last week (wednesday league, working bee, friday section 2/3 league).

i wonder can we put a comment on the CCC facebook whenever there's a new thread to get people interested. And i suggest the author of the thread to do this job.
