    hmm, correct me if i'm wrong, did he win the Japan Open last yr??..:confused:...or did he ever win Japan Open before, again correct me if i'm wrong??..i think it's fair to put, at least, the winner from last yr's edition(whoever they may be)..:rolleyes: :cool:

    yeah, they did a crappy job on it though, looks boring... and badly made...

    Yeah the quality is really bad, I mean it is a 6 * tournament, they should at least spen some time on the advert, at least it is not as bad as Carlton's webpage. lol

    I thought Japan has excellent designers in advertisement... Yonex shouldn't made a bad quality advertisement for a 5-star tournament (if I am not mis-taken)

    Lin Dan won Japan Open last year, Chen Hong his opponent retire half way through the final due to flu...:)

    Why they must change the ad? Taufik is the most talented player at the moment, we must admit it, even that recently his perform is decent. He is attractive, and also make badminton world has changed with his controversial sometimes. I think Japan use his pic as their ad because Taufik is more popular in Japan than Lin Dan or LCW...

    After Taufik walk out of HK open and R16 lost in WC 2006, they should change the poster.

    If they did not want to used last year winner as poster, maybe they should use their own MS player. Shato Soji.

    1. He win against Taufik in Thomas Cup this year.
    2. He also reach R16, thesame round as Taufik in this WC
    Not bad achievement. :)

    who cares. I'm not the sponsor, I haven't spent one cent on the design. The decision maker made decision for his/her purpose. Who cares. Winning Japan open title is more important than having an image on the ads.
