There was a sale at mjstring.ca $18 for the red one. I bought 5 tubes. I don't like these shuttles. I find them little light and only fly well half of the MD game. I will stick to Victor Master Ace for quality.
Picked up a couple of tubes of the Chao Pai Red's - $23 each (cash deal). I'll take pics of it, cut open a used one, and post my experience with these feathers. The dealer said it's comparable to Aeroplane Blacks and Victor Master Tournament.
Chao Pai Red is not as good as RSL Supremes. Just under as far as quality/durability is concerned, IMO.
Here in the US, I see a lot of Aeroplane blacks. I use them and think they are the good. The Chao Pai Reds are good too. The RSL Supreme and Ultimate are better, more robust feathers. Like rackets and strings, I find "best" shuttlecock depends a lot on the individual. More so with shuttlecocks due to variation caused by batch and player's preference. What are you using now? I'm no expert but maybe I can give a comparison/reference based on your current shuttles or someone else here can.
Chao Pai Red like I said before are just slightly under the Supremes. Not that the Reds are bad, just Supremes a little more durable. Both are good, if you can get CP Reds cheaper, it's still a good bird. One point I notice about the Supremes is they seem better for training and drills after being played. CP Red aren't as good after being used. If you can get the CP Red, you can go ahead and try for yourself. I regularly go through used birdies and save better ones for drills and training because I volunteer and coach a girls badminton team.
Found the Pro-Tech Tournament shuttlecock on badmintonian.com but the one review about it's lack of QC and the cost is a turn off. Too high of price for me to test out.
You may try a new brand called SHINE CENTAURUS. Tournament grade shuttlecock, Grade A Goose Feathers with a full natural cork. It is available in USA and Canada.
