Kwun, Tq very much, with your pic & live score.. we are really like watching a live match.. keep it up with more report..
it is so much more fun to be watching badminton than taking photos of badminton. the crowd are cheering at the top of their throat and all i can see is a little viewfinder. a few other photojournalists are just sitting there watching instead of doing work.
This is.. ..just a warm up, kwun....Wait til the Semis and Finals days....And then, of course, to be continued next week @ the HK Open... Btw, you should take pics of the crowd "cheering at the top of their throat, lung & tongue"..We want to see the emotions of the crowd..
That is so so so true. Watching the event live is just incomparable. Nothing beats that experience. You even find yourself cheering madly for your favorite player
2 days of sitting down and taking photos is starting to take its toll. today i developed a really annoying headache on one side of my head. i am going to take a rest tonight and will post some pics when i get to it tomorrow.
Who say taking photos is easy? heheh.. get well soon mate. Relax and put some cold cucumber on your eyes. Take it easy.
Hauge U should try it....watching tooooo much badminton......'s beauties already.....time to take care your eyes......
i wonder if anybody noticed that during the Choong/Lee and Chia/Chung match, there was a long delay at around 4-3 on the first game. the umpire really dozed off that match. firstly he got the TPE/MAS names mixed up, then later on he got their scores mixed up. after nearly 5 mins of back and forth plus the interference of the tournament referee, he finally got the scores and names correctly and the match could proceed.
the Chinese crowd is really very sporting. they will cheer for any good rallies regardless of where the players are from. you will hear whole stadium cheering and clapping when they see a long a hard fought rally. of course, in times when Chinese are behind they will always goes for the JIA YOU! routine but that's very understandable.
