WCH might have trouble clearing the first round seeing his current form.

You are quite right Jason. LD may withdraw just as did in HK SS.He may give BCL the chance to win this China Open. But I doubt BCL will carry the task winning China Open as He has less probabilty of beating LCW or Peter Gade.Besides,LD needs 1 more team mate accompanying him SS Masters Final next December. He is either BCL or Chen Jin.

Hmm, I am not so sure LD will withdraw again. But it will depend on LYB strategy for next year Thomas Cup.

If he want BCL play as their third single, LD will not withdraw.

But if he want BCL as second single and CJ as thrid single, LD will withdraw again.

NOte here: BCL never lost as second single player in Thomas Cup since 2004. Not even to Taufik H in Thomas Cup.

With the amount of Chinese players in the draw, expect a pile of upsets. Many PAWers seem to think so.

LD v.s. BCL - If LD doesn't withdraw, he will win.
