If only AhsanRian won the first game. knew their confidence will take a beating against plucky danes to give then fighting chance..

But what a Final if its First vs Second seed.

BoeMo looks invincible , they were severely tested yesterday and today in g1 and came away. imo they are favourites.

Everytime they have beaten each other in Superseries , they are champion. Repeat of last year Final hmmm..

YEs, the Minions has been dominating WR#1 for both World Ranking and BWF Superseries throughout this year. A win tomorrow will secure their crown of BWF POTY 2017.

And the korean new scratch pair are through the final! Completely outpowered Yonemoto/ Tanaka.

Akane Yamaguchi therefore the sole bearer of Japan's chance to make history by winning Japan's first ever China Open title in 31 years (!)

CL is back.....at the end of game 1 u can feel it is almost impossible to get even one point from him....he was retrieving smashes on the line(a crucial element in his game missing in recent times)....his monstrous smash is also working....good luck VA ...CL gonna crush u tomorrow.

I think it was Zhang Ning strategy high ball over Marin and only smash when has good opportunity

I don't think ranking is a good factor to determine player of the "Year"
KS was way down in the rankings last year hence the massive "jump up" way more impressive than to reach #1 for somebody who's already in top5.
That's why it's called as player of the "Year".

But yeah a win tomorrow would guarantee that for the Minions, even more so if VA wins as well

Chen Long was only at his best in G3 just now with Son Wan Ho. Let's see if he can maintain that scintillating form tomorrow against VA.

Yes, Chen Long's killer smash and impenetrable defensive wall forced even the cool, calm and collected SWH to break down. The match is reminiscent of their Rio'16 clash.

Hmm not really. I wonder why though. I think its culture playing at their own country,2 men just dont work well together in Chinese Dictionary.

Ranking is one thing, but also their consistency in this year's BWF circuit where they have been in 7 finals (4 titles, will be 5 tomorrow :D). Even a hat-trick during April-March.

Why do you think the mighty China is not so good in Men's double? In my opinion, China only has 2 legendary pairs in Men's double : LYB/TB and Fu/Cai

wth man i just reviewed GFJ vs Marin match ... which part GFJ didn't smash .... she did smash dud ... just waiting for the right opportunity .. Marin didn't give her a lot of that opportunity that's why may seem she didn't smash a lot ..
and btw Marin didn't play well the majority of the match ..
