japan is good but against china no chance at all. tago cant beat CL, momota cant beat dpy, ms3 no need to say. md against china is always 50/50 endo has bad h2h against china .

I beleive Tago has a chance of beating CL, though it is very unlikely. MS2 would be Sasaki I think.

Very interesting! LYB said that he may choose to play Lin Dan as the #2 singles. Then if forced to, he would play a doubles player as the #3 singles. Actually, I think Zhang Nan would be a fairly good singles player!

For me personally, I'd much rather see Lin Dan win a MS2 than take my chances with DPY losing the MS2.

LD is the lowest ranked MS in the team to play him as MS2 means to forfeit the MS3, unless they have a decent double player good enough to play at MS3 when needed. with the score at 2-2 and a double player to play the last single! i don't think so.

THW may end up being the hero of the thomas cup if he plays MS2. Because I honestly cannot see DPY winning against any of the MS2. He has losses to Rumbaka and Santoso. I don't see him beating Lee dong keun.

The H2H between THW vs. Simon is 1 - 1; THW never met Rumbaka; DPY vs. Simon is 2 - 3; DPY vs. Rumbaka is 0 - 3. DPY never met Lee Dong Keun.

Correct me if I'm wrong but tho LD seems to be smarter on court than LCW but if santoso can beat LCW then santoso also has a big chance to best LD? I'm not a huge spectator fan of any sports and most of the time I watch matched after reading on forums to make sure they are exciting and or controversial :) so pls don't chop my head off if I'm wrong :)

Santoso plays a very aggressive attacking style. On a very good day, he can beat anybody including LD. LD is playing some ball control style, I think LCW is trying to do the same now. I would say if they play 10 matches, LD will probably win 8. Same to LCW.

Apparently WZM gave LIn Dan a really close run for his money. Which again makes me wonder how in the world DPY was chosen over WZM. DPY wouldn't score 10 points against Lin Dan.

Moving off of CHN's TC team for a moment over to UC...it was reported that MJ/WXL beat BYX/TJH in simulation match. Do CHN play MJ/WXL as WD3 or are BYX/TJH taken off for big matches?I must admit I am a bit nervous. BYX/TJH, while great, remind me a little of MJ/WXL in 2010. and CHN is also running the reigning OG champs as WD2

I would play BYX/TJH and MJ/WXL. They could even try ZYL/WXL.

I think China selection team(managers and coaches) would not do any blunder so I believe they have chosen their best, both Thomas and Uber.

But the die hard fans sometimes would come up with interesting stories if they lose.

    There's NOISE everywhere

Don't you think that it's something too premature to say at this stage? :D

Anyhow, I believe there's always such NOISE in each team's supporters... "noise" for it does not represent the prevailing view!
