Hey, what is happening to Pedersen's thread? so quiet?
I saw her being the leader in Purple League games, and also high 5-ving her malaysian partner. who wouldn't want to partner her, calm and yet, charismatic player, probably gets that from Joachim after partnering him for so long.
There was this moment when she was doing her usual forklift serve, and then there was some unruly boisterous noise coming from the audience, and she stop her serve, walk towards the crowd, which also toward the camera and said 'Can you just shut up?'...
haha, any video of that...
Nah, I didn't get that sense. She was just very upset with herself at the end of the match because it was really her two smash return mistakes in a row that made the difference between a gold or a silver medal. She congratulated the Japanese pair a few minutes later.Very good player.... but seems to have a very poor attitude like much of the Danish team.
Her acknowledgement of the Japanese team in the olympic finals was very unsportsmanlike.

This is not pettiness. Why not look at winners? Do they rush to shake hands? No, they fool around for a while, hugging each other and their coaches, and only later go to shake hands with the losers. Do you call this pettiness?I can understand that she was upset... I would be too. But at the very least, make respectful eye contact when you shake hands. This is adult, competitive sport.... not grade two playground games. Even in the face of a loss you should still be able to conduct yourself in a well mannered fashion. Especially if it was a fair competition, which in my estimation, it was. If I lose, the high fives go all around and there is a polite "thank you". Even if I did poorly. Even if the other guys killed us. Even if there was some controversy. You don't have to be best friends, but you should at least show respect. It's good that she congratulated them later. I have always liked her and I will continue to like her playing. I just find it hard to the watch pettiness in pro sports, no matter who it is.
And sports is unfair that way in that we only remember the top winner, never the runner up.
Lol... sadly he's the only exception in that he's remembered for always being the runner up in the biggies...Ahem, except perhaps Lee Chong Wei?![]()

They will definitely attend it. $40000 for a semi-final finish and $80000 for the winner , this money will overcome any obstacles I guess. Many Denmark players are fighting hard to qualify. Hope they attend it. Their personal relations are private thing to be discussed. I wish them a happy life. They are currently ranked No. 4 on the Destination Dubai.
Could this be a valid excuse for skipping a Super Series Final?
