A most excellent morning/afternoon day of badminton. Thanks a million, Break-My-String, for organizing this.

4 flights, everybody starts in A flight. First round defeats drop to C flight, and duke it out there. 2nd round defeats drop to B flight. I don't really know how people get into D flight from B-flight, but losers in C-flight drop to D-flight.

Very generous prizes and the winners of each flights get a tube of AS-50 shuttles (each partner, so total of 2 tubes) and runners up get Sosan Black, and Victor Blue, I think.

Flex Pro had a rack of track suits, vest, shirts ... a table of demo rackets, of which I tried three of them.

Everyone contributed to the potluck and there were tons of food! :D

Very friendly atmosphere, exciting games to watch in the A-flight. Leg cramps hindered XQYH-Watson who was a finalist in A-flight. C-flight finalists had BMS/partner against me/wwcbro yeeee-haaa.

Flex Pro also gave away door prizes, including a 2004 World Jr T-shirt with the China Team signatures on them. They gave away grips, shirts, 8-dollar off coupon on restringing with them.

Again, a great effort by BMS, my sincere thanks for the event.

Don't forget to post pictures, BMS when you have time!

Totally agreed with Dave. Thanks to BMS and volunteers for the smooth running of the tourney. It's quite an eye opener for me and 604Badder. Quick demise for my team for two rounds followed by an easy break in the third. Battle of attrition in final flight D. It's too bad we weren't able to finish what we started, but credit must go to our determined opponents who pushed our physical limits. Hopefully we will do better next time around:)

I guess my words were prophetic... we got most of the whipping with our asses:eek::crying:!

Hey Dave, how did you and Wwcbro do?

After 1/2 hour in a hot tub, I feel human again, those old bones do need a break.
BMS, you did out do yourself, even a better tournament then last year, totally enjoyable, thanks again.

One suggestion, can you can 535 to spnsor the tourney next year:D Looks like even the young ones are getting cramps he!he! There may be hope for us old timers yet.

Great games everyone, looking forward to next year.

    Cheers!

What battle of attrition? Describe! :D

We managed to squeeze by Break-My-String and partner to clinch C-flight, and two tubes of AS-50, of which, wwcbro and I are extremely happy to get!
