Expect a certain number of top players to withdraw from certain world tour events, it will become a norm as there are 12 compulsory tournaments excluding the majors for most of the players to compete in.

Even LCW has said he would rather pay the fines than force himself to play all the required tournaments and his BA is backing him.

Viktor too is slamming BWF for the hectic, overcrowded tournament schedule and requirements, even claiming all the four tournaments in January are not important to him, his immediate goal is the All England in March followed by the World Championships in August, and arguing that a player can only peak once or twice a year , not three or four times.

Mads Conrad also just said the same during the interview in Indonesia
I was personally expecting a lot of 'upset' at R1 as they will perform without willingness to win to conserve energy and get home sooner.
I think India Open will experience this next week as they are the last tournament this month

TournamentSoftware website has just updated with some players have just withdrawn. Srikanth Kidambi, HS Prannoy, Tanaka/Yonemoto and Chris/Gabby Adcock are among the top seeds who pulled-out their participation here.

My posting at Post #23 and also the content inside your quote at Post #24 neither.

It should be some previous cache left behind when I'm working on the update list.

The time stamp of my post is Jan 22, 2018 at 5:05 AM.
And your posting is Jan 22, 2018 at 5:07 AM.

Two minutes apart, it should be okay after all.

I'm sorry if it's bother you.

Absolutely agree..... crowd noise is a distraction........ The Dubai series was a great example as mics were placed near to courts such that tv audience could hear sound of hitting the birds......It made watching the live game even more exciting for me.......

I must say, the most exciting prospect of this tournament is a Nozomi v TTY final. But with Nozomi lacking much match practice, I doubt it. But one can hope that she's good as ever.

since Daihatsu is the title sponsor, I think Nozomi will do her best to win (hopefully).

Thats a strategy... I advised them not to pair Hendra Ahsan in this tournament... if they do, they wont qualify for All England....( notional point)
