Just another day at the office for KSS...
it looks like kss always have a problem with this chinese pair, I never seen him doing this against liu/zhang for example, even boe/mog.
There could have been a heated exchange b/w Kevin and this pair in the past which we are unaware of. Maybe some sort of fight?
I think he just want to psychic war against Li/Liu, at the end they still do handshake each others...
Yup. You can also see that Liu is trying to return the favor to Kevin by giving the stare

I think I agree....
there seems to be something there
so you dont agree that i said That you should ask CL and LD to retire ?
Kevin said in this interview he felt like the Chinese pair were very confident and quite provoking especially Liu Yuchen in the first match. So he felt like he needs to return the favor and he just don't wanna lose in his home country.
Honestly I do see Li/Liu being very confident in the first match but not to the extent of provoking. But Kevin also seems quite behaving in the first match, then started to play his 'game' in the second match.
They shouldn get cocky after winning the first game. Shack man never remember top chinese pair losing to any pair six times in a row. saying so bcoz they are top chinese pair for a year already now. its like seeing wang xiaoli yuyang losing six times to a kind of pair.
Lol...you can ask. And I can suggest you find some other oranges to compare with apples lmao.
Those serves though. What the hell. You can't expect a fault on every serve that's 2-3cm too high, but these...holy crap
That's the advantage of playing in yr home country
I dsagree on cheating but **** happens, this is 1 of those times.
They get away with that **** pretty much everywhere
Kevin/Gid won, so pretty much anything is invalid right?
What do you mean?
bwf farms out the media tasks to infront. infront acts as a middleman of sorts between bwf & nat'l federations because bwf does not have a media department... in short infront acts on bwf's behalf regarding all media duties. http://www.infrontsports.com/news/2016/09/bwf-and-wanda-announce-landmark-partnership/
you are correct, but that's only part of it. 'rights' and 'broadcast' are two separate things, sort of. the 'rights' are merely who legally owns and gets the $ from selling the 'broadcast'. the tournament organizer (not always the home badminton federation) owns the rights to anything filmed in its home country.
for 2018 going forward i would expect bwf works w/ infront to outline what they want the broadcast to look like (basic camera angles, # of matches, which courts & days to show), then infront works w/ the tournament organizer to make it happen. i'm sure infront is also handling int'l 'rights' sales.
infront is also supposed to help the home federation sell the broadcast to anyone who may want to buy it. in my experience with bwf's prior media partner, wme-img, they were supposed to help to me sell the broadcast to the gpg i ran. they did absolutely nothing in that regard. nothing. (but that's a whole other cluster f*ck on how unprofessional bwf is run.)
if kompas is an indonesian tv station the $ from that sale should be going to pbsi. non-indonesian sales (betting channels and others) go to bwf. i don't know if bwf is giving more duties to infront than their prior partner wme-img. prior to 2018 'putting the broadcast together' meant the organizer had to hire, and pay for, the broadcast crew (camera operators, director, satellite truck, etc.) and wme-img came in one day before broadcast and supervised it. hell, i could've done that. seriously.
i'm not 100% clear on what you're asking in terms of 'country'...
example: pbsi does not have to buy the rights from bwf. they automatically own it because they are a domestic company putting on an event in their own country. for this reason bwf has to region block it in indonesia. so, if pbsi has cannot sell the broadcast to a tv station or streaming broadcaster indonesians won't see it. pbsi can waive the region blocking but that would likely hurt ticket sales.
did i answer your ?'s...
it went as i expected. the semi's took a lot out of saina. i hope that heavy bandage on her right thigh isn't anything serious.
all 4 of them have illegal serves 95% of the time. i can't wait for the new 1.15m rule to start. it'll remove all ambiguity from incompetent service judges.
there will be a little bitching and moaning during the all england but the players & fans will get over it quickly.
look no further than the people running bwf.
