A close shave for TTY, Michelle missed a golden opportunity to send her packing in R1. Of late, TTY has proven to be somewhat beatable and vulnerable.

To me, I don't consider TTY in a league of her own.

Rasmus Gemke did well to oust Ihsan Mustofa after coming from behind to save G2.

he is last year Bitburger Open champion as he beaten MAS Lee Zii Jia and TPE Hsu Jen Hao to win the title, he may consider as the strong 3rd MS player for Denmark team in upcoming Thomas Cup Finals...

    Sigh..

Jonathan Christie... He is unbelievably strange.. after holding a good lead to 13-10.. and then 21-14
I mean, he does this so often..

Son Wan Ho showed his class to put one of the brightest young prospects , Jonatan Christie, in his place.

To be honest.. i didn't expect much from him to beat Son Wan Ho.. but at least.. not like this..

It is like.. he only came to the court for the first few minutes or so.. And then.. bye...

He Bingjao won over Aya Ohori 21-17, 21-17.

Then suddenly lose to Lee Ying Ying. I saw the match and AO makes too much UEs in the end.

Agree. There is too much competition from Okuhara and Akane, there would be no place for her soon.

Let's see if Lin Dan is motivated enough in this tourney, facing a fast-attacker Kantaphon Wangcharoen.
