Have to say SK at least giving his best definitelt better than what SYQ did yesterday.
SYQ was out in single digits whicj was not expected from a champ like him.

Well played JC and SK at least it was an intresting match to watch..!!

Umpire says too late for Srikanth to challenge? Arbitrary and subjective.

Looking at coach who instructs to challenge by raising hand. Then complaining to umpire. Sore loser.

What? Why didn't the umpire let SK to challenge? Though it would have been useless too. Was he that late to raise his hand?

It's too harsh to call someone a sore loser. Isn't it ?

Yes, his coach definitely raised a hand to signal, and Srikanth seemed to see it before challenging.

What can you expect from illiterates?.

Anyway, if SK is able to catch up from 4-11 down to 19-19 in such a high intense match, why can't he try earlier.

    He relaxed a bit , I felt.

Going by the form of KS, I will not be surprised to see him get eliminated in quarters. At most in this form he'll be 8th ranked player or hovering around 10th rank. God, I miss that 2015 Indian open form of Srikanth. He caught up to JC quite a few times in 2nd game but again kept on committing unforced errors. This form won't trouble any top 5 player. He has to regain his confidence and form back. JC played well. Good luck to him.

Anyway, Jonatan plays best buoyed by the INA crowd behind him, while Srikanth in G2 when he realized the match is slipping away from him just let himself go and suddenly he's fighting back but at 19-all, I think he decided to play safe and that allowed JC to seize the initiative to grab the next two points. How they handled the crucial points respectively made the difference.

The moment he thought he had no chance, he played much much better and less pressure.
When he realized he might actually have the chance, 19-19 he lost it to the pressure.

He knew it's going to harder to handle KS. He said it earlier yesterday. And he prepared gift for the spectator before hand as if he is sure he is going to win this.

Opinions, the benefit of the doubt should be given to the challenger, what's there to lose allowing the challenge, the thing is to ensure the linecall is correct and the players, and everyone else for that matter, are convinced.
