Nishimoto's game was fast and rushed like men's double. Always strike back as fast as possible, this is a big weakness of him. The top 10 players, they will not lose their points by "fast drive", "fast strike". They seldom lost but you cannot take their game by this way. Play too fast with a "good height" player was not a best choice. Playing slowly and mixing some disguised shots can make a better result.
Also, as MS singles coach Nakanishi has commented, Nishimoto seems to have problems 'closing' games or matches. Here, too, it was 15-15 in G2, bfore Nishimoto went on to lose 16-21. He really seems to lack confidence.
I wonder that he has a long time training with Momota, and he cannot learn anything. I saw the way he won the point from opponents, can be a signature shot, but he rarely repeated that shot. His shot just like a disposable towel. He always lost the point in the same way, lifting by jumping back but not the footstep and the shot was not high enough either, then opponent smashes and wins the point. I feel that his game was chaotic (messy), unorganized, objectless and playing randomly.
Watched Minions yesterday. They dont look even look like they care and you know suddenly they are in the Final and making big money again. Imo, they would easily beat the KOR pair but everytime they took 3-4 points lead, Kevin just goes on crazy mode, to either kill the shuttle or hit the net at any cost. The pattern is really obvious, he wont play around (rallies). If he is a little patient, they can get those points and the match is further than the score suggests.
Apocalyptic showing from Pramel. Praveen is sleepyface. The IND pair price at 8 to win and look so easy
Sikki/Dhruv combination defeated 2nd seeds! If I am not wrong, the 2nd seeds has been badminton with one player for so long. I wonder how come they selected a XD player without any fitness. Melati need to hit the gym
Both played bad today. Usually i think Melati is slow but i think Praveen is worst today. He looked like cooked Salmon sweating like hell. You know if he dont play well, this can happen and thats what exactly happened. He doesnt even bother to defend Dhruv smash in G1. There was 1 point in the 1st game where they just let a lifting shuttle past them. Well sometimes partner got confused with a low/mid passing shot so they left to one another but this shuttle is just so high in the air. Its probably the most ridiculous i ever see. Jordan is acting like Melati should take that shuttle but honestly he can take it too. From that point, i know they will lose the match. Definitely there is something wrong with them.
She's getting fatter during pandemic era, needs full commitment and discipline to reduce weight. It's an awful performance by home favorites, leading 11-5 in second game then slowly but sure lost momentum, sadly they're INA number one pair, meaning the others aren't better than them.
A tip for fellow cheapskates, you can use a free 500mb tunnel bear vpn account to load up court 1 or 2 on UseeTV, then once it's connected turn off tunnel bear and it should keep streaming! This will likely work with other free VPN's but tunnel bear is one of the few free ones with Indonesian routing I believe.
Crazy game 2 there between Ginting and KV. KV does absolutely nothing for the rallies and lives off entirely of Ginting's incredible amount of simple mistakes. That's enough for 19-14 atm.
Vitidsarn played decently but nothing special. For every point Ginting won through fast and furious attack he lost two to unforced errors. Last two points of the match were smashes wide of the sidelines and there were plenty more before that too.
His opponent is too persistent to contribute cheap points in final game, inconsistency problem still haunting Tokyo OG bronze medalist, the patient style of Vitidsarn has good defense but weak attacking shot.
Had healthy lead 17-9 to end the match with 22-20, Vito almost slips second round spot as Praneeth narrowing the deficit gradually. The third-ranked Indonesian will take on Vitidsarn tomorrow.
It's just like an exhibition match for Jordan/Oktavianti for what they said in post match interview...
