Welcome (back) to Vancouver! I don't know how the turn-out'll be for Wed night. THere's a fireworks display Aug 1 (Wed) and the last time that happened, VRC was a ghost-town. I'll be there, though, so save a game for me! -dave
Then panda ***CHALLENGES*** you to a single's match. Actually, panda's don't play singles. They only play doubles and wished they were good enough to play mixed.
I think i should plan a trip to california next year, maybe in conjuction with catching a vancouver canucks game...hmmmm.
I find it hard to imagine you not being "good enough" to play mixed.. your partner would be setting you up for a tonne of racket breaking smashes. It'd be like a firing range for yah. I'd hate to be your opponent in that situation. If you're as fast or faster then Mr. Wolff's boomer...YIKES! i think it'd be a nightmare for me if i saw you two fellas pair up together: Wolff + Panda -> when animals attack!
DH, drop by RichmondPro on Fri night 8 pm-midnight (for drop in) and you'll find some decent players. Unfortunately I'll be out of town but I'm sure you won't have problems finding a good game.
Hey Pete, are you taking lessons again at RichmondPro? What days? Haven't seen you around for a while.
Growler, Nephrus, cappy75 are a no-show, I think, for Wed night. TTT and Pete LSD I haven't seen on Wed nights either, so I would guess Wed night to be a bust, DarthHowie. Fireworks that night make it a social outing for a lot of people here in Vancouver. -dave
Hmmm, I was at RichmondPro for drop in last Fri night and didn't catch him there. He must be trying to avoid me
Kiran will completely send us to military bootcamp first to get in shape, before allowing us to re-sign-up for his coacing. Compounded with the fact I found out where Lin's Taiwanese Kitchen is re-opening up, there's a lot of "opposing forces" at work. -dave
I think the rediscovery of Lin's Kitchen may be backbreaker in your attempted comeback to training Anyway, should not hijack this thread. Back to trying to get DH his badminton fix in Vancouver.
I will still be heading to VRC wednesday with my mystery doubles partner. We may be dropping by at Richmond Pro Friday night but it all depends on whether i have family commitments that evening. And if i do show up friday, and look a little sluggish and tanned that's because i was at spanish banks during the day playing beach vball. =) Sunday nite drop-in at richmond pro is also an option i'm looking at but that is dependant on whether my friends plan on drinking that evening =)) (and how much beach vball i get in on sunday) ...but i think i can do both or all three... Bring it!
I thought u going there for sister's wedding? How come I only see all the "activities"? Anyway, have a wonderful time!
