Datuk LCW: Time to perform on the big stage

Datuk LCW has to perform & if he fail he would have to be grounded

Come on, thats not fair la.
Perform he has to la. But should he be bundled out, life still goes on. He just be a MS WR1 with no majors thats all. I mean he will still be cherished and worshipped by Bolehians throughout Bolehland.

and my 1st reply will be
if salakijit,porntip,saralee,kunchala is playing
they will top the group and not korea:mad:

Thai Women's team better than Korea Women's team? I guess I need to take a better look at Thailand, rarely notice any of their players except Ratchanok, Salakjit

For men's, I only notice Boonsak Ponsana.

I guess LCW's first hurdle in the All-England is SDK. He lost to SDK recently in WC 09 but it can has been more than half a year.

sorry for being a little off topic, but is there anywhere I can see the full match of this friendly game played by LD/LCW and/or the XD game?

Both seem like they would be great to watch, so any links would be awesome...

I don't think there was actual recording of that game other than fancams o.o

That's banana peels my friend .... Otherwise u are picture perfect.

I for one would like to see LCW do well. Need someone to push LD to new levels.

Derek

While many here will think that LD is the biggest obstacle, I would say the biggest obstacle will be LCW himself. Can he overcome his own mental barriers? There will be many banana skins and if LCW is not careful, he may find himself bundled out by a lower ranked shuttler.

LCW wants a major bad. And I believe should he fail again this time, damage done may be irreversible. And should he be beaten by LD, it will be the straw that broke the camel's back. There will be no coming back if he gets another beating by LD.

Like it or not, the AE is a make or break for LCW in terms of landing a biggie. If LCW wins the AE, we will have a rejuvenated shuttler who may just challenge for the OG 2012. Should he fails, my bet is things will be downhill for him as I doubt he can recover from another disappointment.

Its gonna be an interesting AE. We have a WR1 MS. Can he deliver the AE?

Licking wounds or hidden Dragon

Got to be careful w/ this one as the Chinese team employs the old tactic of training behind closed doors and preparing a secret weapon away from prying eyes. LD may emerge in better physical condition and sharper than people expect. The Olympics is a prime example .... with LD emerging in the best form of his life.

My coach a former world #2 confirmed that an intensive period of training is often used to boost performance that is lost after playing multiple tournaments.

This may also have the added benefit of creating a surprise effect for opponents when the players re-emerges ..... On the other hand if LD is hampered by an injury all bests are off.

LD's match fitness may be in doubt as he skipped the KO & MO. BUT if he can still turn the table on LCW (assuming they do meet), then it may create a huge mental block for LCW. Its like despite all the training, rest (in between tourneys), improvements in gameplay it is still not enough to beat LD.

yes, he is right, the intensive training is very hard and very demanding - you may come out in one piece or in several pieces!:D:D

i presumed your coach must be from china? did he/she mentioned about their diet, booster or energizer these players take while training?:D:D

They eat good chinese fried rice= P

What I am only afraid of is if LCW gets stopped by Sony again. The last time, he cried in the hotel after he was defeated in WC 09 by the same Indonesian.

folks, I'm sorry for that, but it looks you all are blinded by just 2 names:confused::confused:
don't forget that Taufik still needs the AE crown, and after some upsets he's doing well now, therefore there is no place on top of AE podium for LD or LCW, it will be occupied by the real hero:eek: let's celebrate together march 14th!:D:D:D
