The head says it'll be CHN vs DEN (cos MAS and INA will struggle with injuries and fitness)

The heart hopes for MAS vs INA .... guaranteed to have the most animated spectator participation within the stadium.

    May the best team win!!!!

Agree whole-heartedly. I am secretly hoping for a MAS vs INA final...because it's so much more exciting than watching CHINA vs DEN. The rivalry between the two neighbouring nations....the histories...everything....

Till now...I still remember the bitter 2-3 defeat to MAS in the 1992 Thomas Cup.

I thought that LCW should have calm down more often during his match as he was too excited and rushing everything, and doing so he made quite a few careless errors against PG. I wanted PG to win but I really thought that there's a good chance PG will run out of steam because LCW is so energetic. Too bad he wasn't patience and use all that energy wisely.

I think the Malaysians did really well stretching the Danish team to their limits even with one of their strong team player injured! I really have to give props to CCM & KKK as they surprised everyone with their awesome performance tonight! I don't think I've ever seen them played that well in the past!

Honestly, I think China will win again. But my heart says Denmark, as I think the old-timers Gade, Jens, and Martin are worthy of claiming the trophy. And it's certainly possible. It's the Thomas Cup, and crazy things always happen... :)

If the Danish doubles deliver against China (which they failed to do today against Malaysia) it should be a thriller. If not, Denmark will probably not get more than one point, as the only player that was really convincing against Malaysia was Gade. (OK, Persson did a fantastic job but against China the opposition will be a little tougher, to put it mildly!)

i feel sad for the doubles players who played superbly and never give up especially koo/chan. But i'll have to give credit for LCW and kuan beng hong for thier never give up attitude especially kuan beng hong for his fight back at the end of the 2nd set, juz sad tat he didnt win the 2nd set after showing great fighting spirit. As for hafiz, he did well in the first set but made too many mistakes in the 2nd set. His first set was good with alot of winning smashes, hope he would do better next time.

As for my preditions, hard to say but i would pick china,as cai/fu , bao chun lai, and chen jin for the 3 points.

I predict China wins. As they are steaming hot right now after beating Indo 3-0. Denmark has lots of fighting spirit too, but China 4th and 5th line have more depth I think.

LD and PG will be the match to watch as they both take the leader roles of their teams.

Just can't wait to see what happens.

Im not sure if Fu/Cai can beat the Danes pair. Hopefully they can. Sunday's match is a bit unpredictable after seeing the semifinal match just now. Danes are superb too.

Whatever it is, may the best team win. But I will be rooting for China.. :D Since no other Asia country is there.. got to root for China. If only Malaysia won just now. :crying:
