On the contrary, I think Gabby is good enough and much better than Imogen. She's pretty good at the net.

Agreed. Although to her credit I think she's showing some signs of improvement from last year.
Unfortunately ENG mixed ladies are all pretty weak

Yeh, I don't mind that though, it's a sign of progress from last year where she wasn't playing the shots at all. Consistancy will come with practice and experience.

LOL! I haven't seen Gabby play before until today in the WD. I guess I'll have to wait and see few of her matches before passing my opinion.
BTW, why did Imogen and Addock split?

Nah, Imogen wanted to dictate her training schedule so it better fitted her personally, Badminton England said my way or highway and Imo said see ya later. Chris and Imo split was just a side effect to this.

Not possible at all. Have you watched the match?? If you feel that chinese squad deliberately lost to everybody, let it be.. But Tommy completely overpowered ChenLong in all the department and CL could not do anything.. He simply blinked and was turning back to look at his coach every now and then.. He does not know what to do at all.. That is the fact.. Considering the 'deliberate' losing policy , why they first of all need to participate in such a prestigious tournament to spoil the beauty of the sport.??.
To avoid paying penalty? Perhaps? Its compulsory for top seed to enter SSP, or else will be fined
