Agree, and i think, he is still growing... maybe can add another 2-3 cm more... But when you look at him, he looks taller than 170 cm. maybe it is an old Djarum data.
Ihsan Maulana Mustofa will be one of the player to be selected for AJC/WJC this year. His result in the Jakarta Open is beyond my expectation.
These are the breakdown of titles for Jakarta Open 2013: Djarum Kudus - 4 (WS, WD (0.5), XD (0.5), BD U-19, GD U-19 (0.5), XD U-17 (0.5)) Mutiara Bandung - 4 (BS U-19, BS U-17, GS U-17, GD U-17) Exist Jakarta - 2 (GS U-19, BD U-17) Pertamina Jakarta - 1.5 (MS, XD (0.5)) Jaya Raya Jakarta - 1.5 (XD U-19, GD U-19 (0.5)) Musica Champions Kudus - 1 (MD) Jaya Raya Suryanaga - 0.5 (WD) Dasa Digdaya - 0.5 (XD U-17) Vita Marissa made full use of the international break due to Sudirman Cup to get more pocket money and won 2 titles as expected, with Variella Aprilsasi and the veteran Trikus Harjanto. They should win the Sirnas Jabar Open 2013 next week too. No surprise who win the MS title.....Alamsyah Yunus. He will also be there for the Jabar Open next week as preparation for the 2 SS tourneys (Indonesia SSP and Singapore SS). Yantoni Edy Saputra won 2 titles in BD U-19 and XD U-17. He deserves a place in the AJC & WJC Team as well.
yeay.... comeback from senayan.... and finally can watch Fitriani obviously good talent with great footwork... Mutiara is ruling BS right now. they have so many good BS U-19 and U-17 talents.... Let me name a few : M Sulthon Al Hakim, Cecep M Alawy, Eska Rivan Jaya, Panji Ahmad Maulana, Firman A Kholiq, Vega Vio, Arief Wahyu... Except Arif and Vega, each of them has a sirnas title in hand. and if not mistaken, only Firman born in 96. others born in 97/98/99. Best Djarum talent, Ramadhani even were defeated easily by Arif Wahyu. Panji Ahmad is an interesting talent. he has everything to be good player. Now, let see their development. 2-3 of them will be in Pelatnas in the next 3-5 years
she play really well, quite fast and win many points through chops and dropshots. i think, if she play her best, it will be difficult for other player to match her. the thing that made difference is her fast footwork. the opponent should play quite well and moving the shuttle fast to exhaust fitriani. i think, last time we have a WS with fast footwork was in the late 90s. Mia and Susi.... I hope fitriani keep consistent, actually, her height is not good. it will be her barrier in the future.

In the midst of excitement over the 2 victories in XD and MD over CHN, the Sirnas Bandung is forgotten. BTW, Alamsyah Yunus has withdrew, leaving it an open field for the Pelatnas vs club players to duke it out in MS. Some summary of results: MS - Pelatnas fields 8 young players Fikhri Ihsandi Hadmadi [15] (another potential candidate for AJC&WJC) progresses to QF after beating Andre Marteen Tene 15-21, 21-11, 23-21! He will face Hermansyah [13] for a place in the last 8. Setyaldi Putra Wibowo (I didn't know he's in Pelatnas now) also progresses to QF after beating Bandar Sigit Pamungkas in in straight-sets! He will face the veteran Jeffer Rosobin [10], who beat Jonathan Christie 21-17, 12-21, 21-19. Thomi Azizan Mahbub [6] also fulfills his seeding and beat Ahmad Rivai 21-18, 19-21, 21-13. He will face the second-seed Senatria Agus Setia Putra in the QF. Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Ihsan Maulana Mustofa lost in R16 to Febriyan Irvannaldy and Ari January respectively. Ihsan, in particular, lost 23-25 in the rubber-set! Mohd Bayu Panghistu lost to Hermansyah in straight-sets in R32. Only Rivan Fauzin Ivanudin lost to the seeded Gestano Ganendra Adwitya 21-11, 23-25, 20-22 in R64! WS - Pelatnas fields 2 young players Both Hanna Ramadini [5] and Ruselli Hartawan (expect them to be sent to AJC&WJC) will be facing tough opponents in the QF: Ana Rovita [2] and Febby Angguni [1], respectively. MD - Pelatnas fields 2 pairs Only Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Hafiz Faisal [6] progress to R16, after beating I Komang Sandi/Bambang Saeful 18-21, 21-10, 21-11. Not so convincing results....and they will face Syahmie R./Erwin Wihardi to fulfill their seeding. Arya Maulana Aldiartama/Rafiddias Akhdan Nugroho lost to Riyo Arief/Rizky Hidayat [3] 18-21, 21-18, 18-21. Not a good sign if they want to partner these two players for AJC/WJC. WD - Pelatnas fields 3 pairs. Only Maretha Dea Giovani/Melvira Oklamona played today and they won in straight-sets. They will face Ery Octaviany/Nadya Melati [7] next. Anggia Shitta Awanda/Ririn Amelia [5]should beat Aan Dwi C./Heti Nugraheni to fulfill their seeding. Ditto for Imma Muthiah Khaerunissa/Shella Devi Aulia [6] against Deariska Putri Medita/Nurbeta Kwanrico. XD - Pelatnas fields 4 pairs 3 out of 4 pairs progress. The surprise was Hafiz Faisal/Shella Devi Aulia were the pair who lost....to Joko Aji Darmawandi/Sheren Regina Natsir 20-22, 21-12, 19-21. Hmm.... Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Anggia Shitta Awanda will face Nurwahid Ardianto/Heti Nugraheni [7]; while Rafiddias Akhdan Nugroho/Maretha Dea Giovani and Arya Maulana Aldiartama/Imma Muthiah Khairunissa progress after 3 tight-sets ending 23-21 in favor of the Pelatnas pairs. Rafi/Maretha are lucky to receive a free pass to QF. Arya/Imma will face a tough fight against Tri Kusuma Wardhana/Variella Aprilsasi [2].
A number of upsets in BD U-19 (my favorite event) already: The top-seed Rizko Asuro/Wildan Atmaja of Guna Dharma lost to Ivan Gunardi/Danang Haryandika of CW. The second-seed Clinton Hendrik K./Rian Ardianto of Jaya Raya lost to Mutiara's M. El-Hakim/M. Lalu Iqbal Aziz. The third-seed Ryan Sauqi/Tomy Al Fajar of Mutiara lost to Dimas Kurniawan/Edi Bagus Kurniawan of Semen Gresik/Surya Baja. Hantoro/Ricky Alverino Sidharta also lost to their Djarum team mate Jeka Wiratama/Vicky Rizki Pratama. M. Alfian Firasa/Rian Swastedian [5] of Jaya Raya lost to Djarum's Yahya Kumara/Galang Decki Ramadhan. Djarum's hope will probably rely on Arsya Isnanu Ardi Putra/Yantoni Edy Saputra [8] to deliver a double, after their title in Sirnas Jakarta last week!
An excellent result for young Kevin in XD:

Trikus Harjanto [1]

Vita Marissa

-

Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo

Anggia Shitta Awanda

21-14 21-23 21-18

They can force Trikus/Vita to 3 hard-fought sets in the SF of XD, having beaten one more pair in the QF:

Hidayat Setiawan

Rusydina Antardayu Riodingin

-

Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo

Anggia Shitta Awanda

14-21 18-21

Kevin/Hafiz also progress to SF of MD, winning 2 matches today:

Hafiz Faizal [6]

Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo

-

Erwin

Syahmie R.

21-15 21-15

Fajar Arie

Rifky Faturahman

-

Hafiz Faizal [6]

Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo

12-21 16-21

The matches today show that Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo is indeed a versatile player. I really hope he wins something at the AJC/WJC this year!
In XD, Rafiddias Akhdan Nugroho/Maretha Dea Giovanni progress to the Final to face the top-seed Trikus Harjanto/Vita Marissa. None of the Singles players can advance to the Final. Only Setyaldi Putra Wibowo managed to progress to SF, before losing to the second-seed Senatria Agus Setia Putra. Pelatnas also ensures 1 representative in WD Final, with Shella Devi Aulia/Imma Muthiah Khairunissa [6] squaring off against Maretha Dea Giovanni/Melvira Oklamona. Anggia/Ririn lost to the on-form Vita/Variella in straight-sets.
Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Hafiz Faisal are through to the Final of Sirnas Jabar Open after another straight-set victory this morning! They will face the second-seed Tri Kusuma Wardhana/Christopher Rusdianto in the Final. Maretha Dea Giovani/Melvira Oklamona are also in the Final, facing the top-seed Vita Marissa/Variella Aprilsasi. So, 3 Pelatnas representatives to underlie their current strengths in the Doubles and weakness in Singles.
Yantoni Edy Saputra is on-course for another 2 titles in BD U-19 (with Arsya Isnanu Ardi Putra) and XD U-17 (with Marsheilla Gischa) like last week. He's almost certain to be in AJC&WJC!
Kevin is really good.... He will be one to watch in the future.... I wonder how he can win almost all the battle in the net. his shot looks easy, but trikusuma always got wrong in his shot and Kevin will kill it... in 1st game, Hafiz has a terrible game. make Kevin go all over the court to cover Hafiz 90% points won by Kevin. 2nd set, Hafiz play well. rubber game. Kevin weakness : so many ball hit the net. typical young player
congrats Kevin/Hafiz. well deserved title. They can be a good pair. both are very intelligent. if they have the spirit, no one can stop them,
