Service error from LCW to hand the match to Viktor Axelsen to score his first ever victory over LCW in how many meetings ? Well, every dog has its day.

LCW knocked out!!! Not enough stamina? Still injured? No wonder you lose, when you play that slow game again, Chong Wei. But still Axelsen had to fight awfully hard to win, so that might give you hope for future battles.

The heightened tension finally gets into LCW who served into the net at 19-20

The umpire gives a fault when the shuttle, not the racket hit the net. LCW is not pleased with it.

The umpire's net fault called on LCW is critical, couldn't have come at a worst time

I knew he was gonna lose at the beginning of the third game, when he refused to - or should I say was unable to - increase the pace and continued this slow paced control game, which is just not working for him. That's more a strategy that LD would use and succeed.

You're lucky, two of LCW's fans have died of heart attack watching him play, one during LOG'12 Final, the other at Rio'16 Final.

Agree, Lin Dan is better at controlled rallying game than LCW, by far.
