Another player form Denmark with tremendous potential is Emil Holst. He was part of Denmark's team at the 2014 Thomas Cup, and acquitted himself well. Current BWF ranking, MS: 55 (best 53) Emil ruled in the U17 and U19 sections of the Denmark Individual Junior Championships from 2006 through 2009, and was the 2009 MS winner at the European junior Championships. From 2011 to 2014, he won a handful of International tournaments in Europe. He appears to have been busy, mainly on the European circuit. The Thomas Cup has given him some much-needed exposure to the Asian audience. He has a powerful, busy and athletic style combined with quick reflexes, and promises much improvement. He could be a key player for Team Denmark in the following years.
