Yup, LD participated 2007 MAS SS when he lost to Park Sung Hwan at R/16. LD missed this tourney for the last two editions, 2008 & 2009.

BWF really have to do something about this. The fans are loosing out. ;)

    Suggestions? ;)

The last time was it China boycott or were they booted out of international scenes? ;)

The last time CH, SJ, XX and DJ came without issue and now LD the odd one out skipping this? Pretty obvious isn't it? No respect for Li Ning as well. ;) I suspect it could be someones decision behind this. ;) Making him the scapegoat?;)

Maybe the fans should booed him out next time when he comes. ;)

    ^^Off topic-Looks like..^^

..BWF's website is probably undergoing a few maintenance updates. I don't think it's new, just the front page has been re-designed. Some of their links are down (e.g. head-to-head database). Hopefully they'll have them up soon.

Well, this is truly a sad case of politics. The fans want to see the best pitting agains each other. It is also good for the history where you can tell the younger generation by mentioning the duel between LCW and LD. Its like RF and Nadal. Sad to see history going down the drain. Who cares who wins, people want good quality entertainment!! ;) Those managers and coaches still don't get it. The last time we have the likes of HanJian vs Liem Swee King, Morten Frost and ZJH/YY/Alan/Icuk/Misbun. An now? nothing. So boring. ;) In doubles we have PJB/KMS vs LYB/TBY, RS/JSidek, Christian Hadinata.. Ricky/Rexy, CSH/SBK/YKH, etc.. Now? Boring... ;)
