    Lin Dan's withdrawal is expected as he would be busy preparing his more important match, the wedding! I think he'd do the same for the Japan Open in September.

    Top-seed pair Bao/Zhong has very good chance to win among 11 participants, they should meet Tang/Xia in final...

    with he exception of WS, all top seeds withdraw from the tournament, which already lack of players in the first place....

    and some said india open ss is the worst.
    thats because they havent saw this,hehe

    That means just by participating in this tournament, a WD pair gets 5040 Points! thats even slightly more than winning a GP tournament!

    i heard that LD is preparinf for his wedding during that period, and LCW said something like he would go to LD wedding around the Japan SS... but i still wondering why other Chinese players withdrew....

    I don't see the Koreans and Indonesians.
    Maybe they are still sour about the WD Olympics saga.:rolleyes:

    indonesian probably preparing for indonesian GPG.(China SS, Japan SS, Indonesian GPG, Chinese Taipei GPG) as there is no break in between...

    I guess most of the Olympians just want a break or not in the mood to play for various reasons,marriage,disappointments,frustrations,injuries,etc - regardless which tournament.

    I'm really curious of the first MS Match: Viktor Axelsen vs. Chen Long.
    This could be a match of the last 16 or quater final.
    We will see how many points Viktor can get.
