especially the 2012 Olympic host england already assured one 1 title (XD)

and another two pontentially to be won by Europe (WS and MD)

hopefully this would help keep badminton as an Olympic event in the future

I suggest that in order to promote badmintin in Europe, change the scoring system a little bit, instead of calling Asian's service fault. In a match, Asians need 21 points to win a game, while Europeans need 17 points. That will probably make the match more interesting to watch.

I think that suggestion might be somewhat racial, I mean what you are suggesting is that Europeans are not as good as Asians, granted, the sport is dominated by Asians, but that would be giving the Europeans an advantage. in terms of outlasting their opponents. But the line calling and service calling are horrible nonetheless.

Horrible as they (the service fault and line calls) are, it seems that only Asian players suffer... it maybe coincidence but certainly conspiracy theories will be in abundance after this.

IBF needs to stem out such problem (if they really exist!). If nothing of such discrimination against Asian players took place, then shame on all those managers, coaches and players who cried foul!

Badminton supporters do not need such things in the game.

I think a petition or protest or boycott of some sort needs to be done.
It seems the western media are hiding these biased umpiring in the tournament as they have only been appearing in the asian newspapers
and IBF seems to be ignoring it as wel, which means either they don't care, or its part of their plan...sigh

What I don't understand is that how come the umpire line/service judges problems never arose at Open tournaments, or so often?
