Hehe..it's up to u whether u agree with this or not.I did this because i just wanna wake my "dead soldier" up again.That's why i said "a solution for a broken frame".This might be a hope for ppl who broke their racket n still wanna fix their racket n bring it to the game,again.I'm not suggesting for u guys to cut ur 2 good rackets and make a hybrid one.That'll be too risky!But since my TSF300 is already dead,so i did something to it came back.That's why i said that this is more of a frankenstein racket.
I took it to someone who is specialize in fixing rackets.I guess he used a glue that requires u to blend two different liquids to make it stronger.Sorry..i dont know the name of the glue.The package usually came with 2 glues n u mix them manually.
Not t-joints that modern yonex rackets uses now.It's an outer t-joint,which usually comes with an older version of yonex rackets.Some places has it,like indonesia.

I might be able to try it. I have both the AT700 and NS9K(S), the NS9KS's frame is broken.. I just need my at700's shaft to snap, so that i can make the ultimate hardhitter's racquet. Since the NS9K's head is broken, I took the U-shaped grommets out and I'm going to put it onto my isometric racquet, once the strings break. So.. my iso will be a musclepower racquet
It'll be easier if u have friends from indo,since they will be easier to shop it for u.Badminton related stuffs r alot over there..they sell a pack of U grommets for Rp5000 only,n the outer t-joint is only around Rp8000.Cheap thing they have there.
Haha.. I've actually been collecting the U-shaped grommets from broken racquets that I've found in rubbish bins around the courts.. Heh.. I might sound really really poor, I also steal the replacement grips and overgrips from broken racquets in rubbish bins if they're still in good condition and they're new.
Haha..nothing's wrong with it.Last time,i also took a broken ti-7 from the court dustbin,n i use it for experiment.So..next time,try to look for an outer t-joint from broken cheap steel rackets..that way,u can try to make ur own hybrid racket.
haha i really think this wont work very well and buy a new racket is what you should do if your serious, but this is good fun haha are you going to give us a review of your DIY racket? haha
Central sports in coventry repaired a Carlton Airblade superlite i used to play on,.. the repair was spot on,.. racket took the same tension as it always had and played the same,.. even restrung it for me,.. all in for £40. Shame it broke 2 months after on the opposite side of the break!
Im wondering if there is anything in the laws of badminton stating that "upgrading" your racket is legal?
I don't think so,.. as far as i know you can play on whatever you want,....It would make stringing/ grommeting your racket problematic wouldn't it,... and changing grips etc, Heavy mods,... I doubt there's a rule against it.
The only rule concerning the racquet is that it should not exceed a certain amount of length for the shaft, handle, frame ( length and width ), etc. Weight and stuff matters absolutely not.
