There is an article today ( bulutangkis.com) that Christian hadinata will fight to get the Pratama progam back, the problem it was dismissed due to lack of fund ( I think it was almost 5 or 6 yrs now...May be Sandy/Krisna can help with this info)...Pratama is like transistion between junior to senior....if I am not wrong...

Thats right...they can see that Pelatnas failed in recent Indonesia/Surabaya Challenge with 1 titles, the rest of 2 gone to Djarum....From Rian, Ade Lukas, now Rendra Widjaya are out of Pelatnas as Djarum gives them more chance to compete more tournaments....due to lack of fund, Pelatnas could not send many pairs out at the same time....so I think it is good that let Djarum groom other players until they are ready to enter Pelatnas and but for some I doubt it if they earn good enough money...they may not want to come back to Pelatnas...like Rian,Rendra,Ade Lukas, etc

Isn't Chen Jin 22 and TCS 20? That's approximately the same laaah. Plus-minus 3 years old means that they will face each other many times like Taufik and Lin Dan... [even the slightly older Peter Gade]... ;)

Yup, Chen Jin! ;) But Lu Qicheng is still dubious [in my eyes]... :D

I think Gong Weijie will not make it for Men's Singles. He's also now playing the doubles...

Tan Chun Seang needs more fire if he wants to make it big in the tour. He does need some fine tuning and some added spices. He has to turn into a different player or monster once he step in the court. Mental tuning. He has to make his opponent scared of him.

TCS will likely be groomed and given the opportunity to be a MAS MS star in future...whereas GWJ happens to play MS baddy in the wrong nation which has so many future hopefuls lining up, that if a player does not seize the opportunity to perform, he is discarded...if GWJ is from another country, even INA, KOR or MAS, that will be a different story.

Gong Wei Jie was in the MD department for one year but he is now back in the single's department. He is in the same batch of juniors as Chen Jin, Tan Chun Seang, Lim Kenn. I find his name in the main draw of Taiwan Open

I think Mohd Arif and Lim Fang Yang performed better than their seniors in junior tourneys. Notably, Mohd Arif and Lim Fang Yang beat a number of top juniors players from China ,Indonesia and Japan in this year's Asian Juniors.
I will vote them as the future stars of Malaysia.

No Doubt. The development program by BAM on BJSS bear fruits nowadays.. They just needs a good coach to groom them into success.
