Who would have thought when they were a game down 12-17 down and 1 game down vs Chaibiao/Hongwei in 2016Fuzhou that they will go on to win hattrick. Rest is history i guess.

Me too,I concur with Morten and Gill that Chen Yufei is the biggest highlight of this tournament, followed by the KOR WD, Lee/Shin, then the Minions.

Imagine if he jiting playing with han chengkai or zhang nan...damn scary :D

Gideon seems to be struggling in this final, kevin also not on top of his game but still doing pretty good. gideon really need to improve his defense, everytime the chinese got the attack and targeting him they always almost got the point...basically need kevin to turn it around for him from defensive position.

Yeah CYF and Lee/Shin had been doing so well in this tournament. Great to see new winners in WS and WD.

I don't know why they haven't tried Zhang Nan with one of the younger players even for just a super 300 or 500. I think LC is better suited in XD more than MD. He is solid good in his shots IF the pace had not become too fast for him to handle. XD shouldn't be that fast.
It's a shame because I think ZN is getting better ever since he has been playing with his two younger partners, (forced to) being a sharper and a more creative playmaker. :D

I dont know about HanZhou but i think HeTan is just the same with LiLiu. Everytime minions beat these 2 pairs, they are champion.

To combine 2 better players from 2 pairs of doubles does not mean they'll perform well together. This is not math and it usually does not work that way, esp at world-class level. ;);)

    This!
I feel like there is much more happening going on in the Korean camp....
and RKM is one who passionately help the players (at least the WD) through the period
