In INDIA finals are shown in DD NEWS
Rajiv blew his chances in G3, leading 11-7, suddenly turned passive allowing CWF to draw level and move ahead before he woke up, took more initiative but in the end was too late, handing the match to CWF 21-19 after saving 3 matchpoints.
Rajiv Ouseph played better than I have ever seen him play before. 'semi-home crowd' working wonders.
\This MD match reminds me of why the challenge system is the best change BWF has ever made!
I agree, not being able to challenge the linecalls is frustrating, annoying and a big disadvantage. I just hope the technology keeps improving and becomes more and more reliable over time, near perfection, the sooner the better.
In tennis, I understand each player is entitled to 3 challenges per set (not per match) whilst in badminton, there's only two each per match (not per set). It'll be great if one day the technology is good enough to completely replace linejudges; I certainly look forward to it.
Oh-oh, the vipboxasia livestream suddenly stops working.
Any live stream? Which channel is it being broadcast on in India?
Too huge a task for Sarah
Thank you so much..hope this work for WS..
great matches so far...with rajiv losing the match...malaysia to regain gold..
Thanks,Mr.Epic for the livestream. A big ask for Sarah Walker.
The pressure with the goal so near is getting onto Tee JY.
Quality of the line calls are appalling.
Had Rajiv won his match, who knows what the final outcome might be.
MAS retained the Gold Medal with a 3-1 win over ENG.
It seems SIN gave MAS a better fight losing by 3-2 and deserves the bronze.
The prize ceremony has now begun.
Congrats to all medalists, two SE Asia nations bagged gold (MAS) and bronze (SIN) while silver grabbed by England team, next the badminton attention will shift to individual event
