It seems "dangerous"?!?! Hey Chris@CCC & hkhung, haha... well, I clicked on the 43 seconds movie thingy and saw people were shaking vigorously and their faces went red in such a short time... I guess "dangerous" was the other word for "scary". Ya... wouldn't it hurt your wrist? ... but it's interesting though~ hehe. Cheers.
General Zhang Fei said Lui Char can do the trick Hi LilyC, Perhaps, according to General Zhang Fei, who served the Kingdom of Shu and who lived during the era of the Three Kingdoms of China between 168-221 B.C, the consumption of Lui Char might be better for Badminton. To all CATS trainee: For people who go to the gym, you can use dumbell to train wrist strength. This is further illustrated in the following articles: http://www.grapplearts.com/Grip-Strength-Training.htm http://www.ironmind.com/ironcms/export/IronMind/GripTips/griptip32.html Also people can buy a hand grip for the same purpose. It shouldn't cost more than $5. This is illustrated as followed: http://www.aiyafitness.com/htm-exercise-equipment/exercise-equipment-hand-wrist-exercise.htm For anyone who is interested, I can demo the particular excercise upon request if i bring a wrist spring on wednesday to show people. I have been using wrist spring, i believe it adds to a faster reaction time on tighten up the wrist from the relaxed grip. Anyway, i will let Chris or Bill to explain the rationale behind training for wrist. Personally, i rather spend more time training calf and forearm instead of wrist basing on the theory that i belief the fundamentals of badminton are a) footwork (hence training for calf especially the first step of moving back) b) clear (hence training for forearm) c) service (low service - Lily, that was the chapter i believe you did last week with Chris on sunday, high service - underarm clear, i believe low service focus on the delicacy of the stroke and racket hit rather than power) C u all wednesday!
Lui Char looks good to me... Hahaha... I think I'd prefer this Lui Char thing - looks more pleasing and seems healthy as well ~
I wonder whether we can find this Lui Char dish in any Hakka restaurant in Melbourne though? Besides, are there any Hakka restaurant in Melbourne.
