For those who were absent, here is a report;

Lesson is Chapter 4: OH Dropshot(reply with Bounce) and Singles High Services.
Drill Partners: Carole & Jess, Wesley & aannn, Kim & helmut, Gautam & hkhung, & TzeKin & Andrei-S.
Trainees told to jot down notes on what was instructed/demonstrated in the lesson/chapter. This will help trainees to mentally revise(at home) the material taught. The jotted notes will become invaluable information in months/years to come.
To help you to remember, here are some key points;
Badminton Footwork Exercise (BEXERCISE)
Eyes: Watching the flight of an imaginary shuttle during BEXERCISE
Backhand/Forehand Grip: Thumb/Index Finger for control
Backhand Bounce: Handle resting on thumb and elbow pointing to the wall
Forehand Bounce: Handle resting on index finger and elbow pointing to the floor
Underarm Clear: Have a long follow-through, right up to 12 o'clock
BEXERCISE can be performed at home without a badminton court and without a racket
Dropshot
Stance: Bended knees, non-racket foot in front of racket foot
Elbow: Slightly bend for better control
On hitting: Counted as 1 footwork as you transfer your weight from racket foot to non-racket foot
Slow Dropshot(with no follow-through)
Point of impact for Slow Dropshot: At 11 o'clock
Point of impact for Slow Dropshot: Racket face “shining” horizontally
Shuttle flight for Slow Dropshot: Flies flat to a point above your Service Line
Shuttle flight for Slow Dropshot: Dies down from a point above your Service Line
Shuttle flight for Slow Dropshot: Falls onto the net tape
Slicing action: NO
Fast Dropshot = Slow Smash
Fast Dropshot(with follow-through)
Point of impact for Fast Dropshot: At 10:30 o'clock
Point of impact for Fast Dropshot: Racket face “shining” at the “GAP”
Shuttle flight for Fast Dropshot: Flies through the “GAP”
Shuttle flight for Fast Dropshot: Falls onto opponent's Service Line
Slicing action: YES
Singles High Service = Underarm Clear
Singles High Service
Holding the shuttle: At eye-level
Dropping the shuttle: Forward, further in front of you
Index Finger for control: Forehand Grip, using index finger for lifting
Direction of the movement of racket: Singles High Service is an Underarm Clear
Have a long follow-through, right up to 12 o'clock
Wrist Adjustment: So that “Racket Head Tube” is formed/directed towards where you want the shuttle to go
Point of impact: Below waist
Point of impact: Highest Point of Racket Head must be below the Lowest Point of your fingers
