I have one. The closest I can think of is like a AT900T but slightly stiffer.

How about the feel? I love the feel and tension retention of the Customedge Type x but that’s where my experience with the series ends.

Never played with AT900T so I still have no idea lol.

Haven't played with both for a while. But feel seems similar. K is kinda like a hammer compared to X like a sword. . I can't use the K in fast doubles.

Perhaps I can give my 2 cents on this, have both the K at 3u and X at 4u.

Type X is a really stiff racquet, stiffer than the K by quite a bit, lighter head (slightly HH) and faster.
K is slower although still a streamlined profile so it cuts through air decently fast. More HH, not as stiff neither is it as hardcore as say...the ZF.

Both feels good, although the X being stiffer is more solid. K has a more "diffused" feel to it. Pleasant but not as focused as the X.

X is stiff? The 2.0 I’ve been using for a bit doesn’t feel that stiff but it’s 4u so could probably be my arm just overpowering the racket and I can’t feel it because of that.

Well if you've been using it for a while, could be it has softened over time from continuous play.
Else then if your arm is capable of overpowering the X (and maybe 3u in general?), then will be more so for the K which is softer.

    No experience with the Z.
N is a mid-flex/balance model. Its lighter, less HH and more flexible than the K.
Good for fast play and drives, not so much in the power dept.

I had my eyes on the Customedge 2.0 Type K for a long time as its specs seem similar to the ARC11 but was hesitant to get it since I couldn't find them anywhere nor were there much information on it.
Good choice too, definitely don't buy Gosen racquets in Japan, they're overpriced. In fact, everything Gosen is expensive here since its imported.

Look forward to your review of it since I'm back in the market for a new racquet! :p

Being stiff and slightly head heavy, the Gungnir Beta is most like the Arc 11. K is whippier and more head heavier than Arc 11.

Interesting! How did that slip under my radar...

Would you say its about as manouverable and swift as the ARC11?
iirc, the Gungnir series is the one with the 3 frame shape design like the TKF right?
Wonder how the Beta compares to TKF

Cuts thru the air pretty swiftly due to the triple variant frame (aero up top, down to box at bottom).

I'm not sure of TKF... isn't it box frame all around?

nope - Aero top, oval middle, box bottom
TKF has an elongated racquet head and the Gungnir has 15mm long (no idea in which part though)
The TKF is basically Victor's take on the Gungnir lol

    Ehh...I'm not so sure Visor...
The TKF is worlds apart from your Gosen Alpha, will drag your game down as its pretty top heavy.

But from Racquet Force, they've measured a 4U to be only 86 as compared to a 4U AX77 at 87.5, which already I am using currently with ease.

Well, I wont get into the technical details as I don't measure head weight and all... :D

I had one before, a 4u with an overall weightage which is pretty light but with a meaty head (even the frame shape is meaty).
Compared to my ex-AX77/Epsilon, definitely played heavier and stiffer too. It is strong but required more from me than the 77.

I suppose if you could requisition one that is not too top heavy, it could work.
I certainly won't discourage you from trying it out if you're feeling the...ahem.....all too familiar itch....heh!

Judt picked up my Type K. This is definitely what I've been looking for as an experience (now confirmed after swinging it loads of times). Let's see if it's one I'm looking for as a keeper.

I'll make a seperate thread probably once I get stuff sorted a bit.

I might jump on the Gosen bandwagon and get their 20th anniversary piece. It is crazy sexy in matte black.
