Currently listening to Em's new Recovery album right now. WOW that's all I can say. What a lyrical masterpiece:)
Like I said, I don't listen to Eminem that much nor not really a fan, but this album is amazing. Candidate for hip-hop album of the year in my books.
    :)

Nah, that's too much for me. If there releasing LP's and what not, most likely I won't download it even though I know it will be a solid album. Take for example Wu-Tang Clan Vs. The Beatles. It's just a mashups of their old classic songs, mixed into a Beatles type flow.

http://www.wutang-corp.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=24 (Never even heard some of these before) (Other than some of their classics ofc...)

In other news, The Roots new album drops today!!!
    :)

Looks like you need time for the album to grow onto you:D (Just like Ye's 808's & Heartbreak, took me a couple good repeats before enjoying the album)
Oh and Best I Ever Had isn't on his album, it's on his So Far Gone mixtape though:)

Actually i bought it on Itunes and they put 'best i ever had' as a bonus track :D

I also got So far gone when it was dropped a few months ago and found it much better than the album...

Hey Thom_bad, if you haven't heard of our own Canadian producer Marco Polo you should download his 2007 album Port Authority & his latest one entitled The Stupendous Adventures Of Marco Polo! Dude has mad producing skills. Reminds me of a DJ Premier & Pete Rock mixed together:)

LoL you know We are young money isn't that bad... Aren't you a pro-Lil Wayne ?

And Crunk Rock I heard it's the worse Lil Jon album, and since I don't know that guy I didn't buy it but it's a recent album, what explains the sells :)

Yes...when he released Tha Carter I, II & III & Da Drought 3 (And all his other mixtapes)
But when he releases sh*t like Rebirth, and everything is rock/heavy autotune, it makes me dissapointed to what he has accomplished on his last album and just throws it away on this album...

Tha Carter 3 is good but too much autotune/vocoder....

On Rebirth I like the song with Eminem, Drop the world :)

Now he's in jail, so let's wait for Tha Carter IV, which will be released when he get out from there :)

Hey is 'Statlanta' (Stat Quo) on your rotation ? It may ! This album is great, probably on of the best of 2010..
I also got an Eminem mixtape "Before the Relpase", hosted by DJ Capcom & DJ Haze, with rare songs and remixes, it's a great work, the quality is mixtape (the sound is somewhat "dirty", unlike on studio songs) and it's very violent because of uncensored songs :D:)
but it's good, perhaps better than that Recovery, which sound too mainstream for me :(

I've previewed some tracks on YouTube & it is worth a listen!! Haven't downloaded the album yet, maybe when I base it on reviews on my credible sources...:D
IDK if it can compete with best rap/hip-hop album of 2010...with Em's Recovery, Distant Relatices etc...but we'll see it's still only July:eek:

Errr, I'm sad about that, but "Recovery" won't be part of my best rap/hip-hop album 2k10 list.....

If I would have to chose, here's my ranking, from january to july :

    1 Statlanta
    2 Distant relatives
3 The Adventures of Bobby Ray
    4 Wu Massacre
    5 The R.E.D Room (mixtape)
