So, Hendra A. Gunawan/Vita Marissa will face Chen Hung-Ling/Chou Chia-Chi for a place in the last 8 tomorrow.

Well, three INA XD representatives in R/16, Nova/Liliyana, Hendra AG/Vita and Fran/Pia. The seniors should progress into QF.

    A nice argument indeed.
Couldn't agree more. They've been too long without significant progress.

It's time for PBSI to split this XD pair. This pair doesn't show any improvement this year as we expect them to replace NoLyn.

I think, it's a good decision to pair Devin Lahardi with Liliyana Natsir
    Go Indonesia !

So far so good for Fran/Pia in their SS campaign. Their losts are pretty much expected. Now, if only they could manage to upset the OG champ. But, I think it's too much for them right now. :p

hmm, I do not think Devin is a world class player like Nova, just a so-so player. But we shall see in the next SS how they will perform.

I agree, but right now, Devin is the best among the others esp. because of his experience in SS tourneys

but don't forget INA still have M. Rijal who had won SS title with Vita in Japan SS.

and Butet/Rijal have paired for Taipei GP Gold 2009 but unfortunately lost to MAS young pair in Quarter final

Nova start his major achievement with Vita Marissa at Japan Open 2004 (about 27 yo).
Currently Devin is still 26 yo (born 1983). So, at least this year he should be able to reach SF on any SS tourney to progress by winning SS tourney next year at 27 years old.
Otherwise, compared to Nova, most likely, it will be too late for him :D:D
