CTC played the last points like a proper coward while Ginting showed the courage to try and win the rallies rather than not lose them. Frustrating end.

 

I wonder who have achieved more ..

JC with AsianGames title and 3SS RU or ASG with 3SS&3RU ?

Still i d say Ginting has achieved more. He even beat all the opponents and tire them out for JC to finish off that AG title

 

Oh.. now I wonder which one of them particularly was on his side? ))

 

How is he a coward when it was Ginting who made the error himself. Tough luck for Ginting, but you shouldn't take anything away from his opponent who won it fair and square.

 

Points. Plural. Not just the last point. And where did I say CTC didn't win it "fair and square"? He simply took no initiative whatsoever for several rallies when he had match points, while Ginting played sharp and with courage and got rewarded by repeatedly equalising. CTC had quite a few openings in which he could have ended the game had he mustered the courage to do so.

 

I presume coward isn't the right word for it, CTC simply being laxed since he was leading near the end of G3. Perhaps he thought that he needs to save some energy for the next match, that plan backfired on himself and he had to exert more energy in the end.

Huh? Minions and Li/Liu with blue and white jersey both pairs? Wha..? Shouldn't they wear different colors?

 

What an exciting last point to close G1. Kevin was so fired up after winning that rally.
Phew.. one game to minions.
Too many mistakes from minions.. I hope it's just them trying to adjust to the drifts and the condition.

 

Li Liu in this playing mode is really good in the flat game, only appears a few times a year though mostly at homeground
