tell that to people who retired when they know they wont complete the group matches. Plus the shuttle is already out anyway and Gideon know that. He prolly doesnt know the shuttle hit his thigh or leg.
An out return by Wang Chi Lin means the second victory in a week for Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo against the Olympic Champions in 3 tight-sets: 18-21, 23-21, 21-17 in 61 mins. 5th Final in a Row for the Minions....can they beat Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi for the second time tomorrow?
What happened to LeeWang. Arghhh. They dont even play half the matches Minions play and got a rest yesterday..After becoming OlympChamp, WCL didnt take care of himself and has strapping at his back, being the weak link today.
Very mature reaction from lee/wang though despite that, if that was the indonesian who were in their shoes kevin would probably act like a child just like in 2018 indonesia masters
the shuttle touched Marcus's leg, anh he choose to be silent. I remember both Marcus/Kevin go out of the court in the same situation with Li/Liu
I know it's a fact that Gill just told us "Lakshya is the third Indian MS after Srikanth and Sameer to reach semis of World Tour Finals". I don't see any reason to say that considering he qualified for semis courtesy the unfortunate retirement/walkovers of other players. She makes it sound like it's an achievement. However if Lakshya wins the match and reaches final, I can still take this fact.
That was my comment last time - How both HokiKoba and MatsuShida suddenly rose their level. Mind boggling.
They haven't been the same for months. A perfect representation of a fluke, regarding their triumph in the Olympics. Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
Lee yang was mature in their reaction. But even if Gideon admit he touched it, it wouldn't change anything. The umpire will not change his decision. It happened to axelsen before where he admit touching the net. But umpire doesn't care and still give him the point. He did purposely lose the next point though..
Viktor isn't even using his 70 percent smash. I watched his group match highlights against Sen and was really annoyed with Sen. He was doing so many cross court smashes and Viktor was happy to just extend his arm and then next thing we see is Viktor smash winner. Sen mental game has been seen again and again (once he reaches 14-15 points) and he also doesn't play smartly. Always relying on smashes. Hopefully this Bali triple header makes him Learn things and we see a better Sen who can lock horns against the world's best and also beat them. Patience and smart game, he needs to learn it. Gone are the days, when he will smash and grind and come out as winner.
It's been said many times before, Olympic is not the highest level as not the top 32 players taking part but players rank in the 3 digits. There's no real competition in first few rounds.
