if one want to humidify the shuttle in the tube, just a wet towel will do.

but better way is to store the shuttle tubes in the bathroom, the daily showers will keep it moist, and that's the best way as moisture takes a long time to get into the fibers.
 
It's an ingenious design... but for 30 euros plus shipping is a bit pricey.

If one is lazy, I find the easiest method (without overdoing it) to humidify shuttles is to wet a folded square of toilet paper with half to one teaspoon of water and place that into the tube of shuttles one week prior to using. Much easier than steaming and just as effective.

You don't want to over humidify as the shuttles will not feel crisp but boggy upon hitting.

For people who don't play much, don't use much feathers maybe an option. I use a different, much easier method without any gimmicks. It just need time. Have always 3-6 tubes at home. I would never spend money on such a thingy. I often loose the caps of the tubes or forget them. Some of my mates forget/loose their tube sometimes.

I use Yonex AS20. The inside of the tube is not protected by a foil. I use an empty tube, flood it once with hot water and empty out immediately. The inside is slightly moist, but not wet. Place the shuttles into the tube and close it. I store the tube with the cork up. Let it stand a few days and you can go. Never experienced that my shuttles break fast or got too wet.
 
they absorb water and release it into the tube very slowly. It's the same stuff, my daughter has them.
 
1) How long will be these "balls" wet ?

2) If I put it to this tube for example 1 week, 2 week , will no be too wet when I open the tube ?

3) these balls which absorb water I can use it again and again or each ball can be use only one ?
 
just rehydrate them in water.

The ones I used for example have been sat in my bathroom as they are for about 5 weeks.
 
and what is condition of shuttlecock if they are still under these water balls ,they have better durability ?
fliyng characteristics are the same?
