BAI need to know that if local coaches are paid meagre amount and start pouring mountain to foreign coaches, it won't improve the situation. Remuneration should be equal.

Head doubles coach and head singles coach. Not head coach of solely one discipline.

One disadvantage for local coaches is the relative lack of experience coaching overseas.

There is a funding limit so equal pay would not be possible. The government had actually asked them to only hire local coaches and drop all foreign coaches. BAI convinced them that without foreign coaches India would go several steps backward and the dismal performance would get worse. This is also one of the factors for Satwik/Chirag taking a long break.

There is some confusion on the identity of Iwansyah Adi Pratma. It is not clear if he is the same Adi Pratma as the current Head Singles coach of INA badminton. The INA head coach's contract expires in December and PBSI has neither confirmed or denied the reports of his contract not being renewed. It will only become clear after he arrives in India.

BAI has clarified that they have sent the contracts to both Tan Kim Her and Iwansyah Adi Pratma and have given them one week to sign the contracts.

Welcome to new Techniques/Ideas/methods from Foreigners..
But, 10K is looks high for Asians considering cost of living in their particular country.
[though I prefer sincere/hardworking badminton coaches(particularly who are Ex Top 32 MS/WS players, Top 16 in doubles with more than 5 years in Top level) should get good pay for decent living worldwide]

But for badminton in India, I think, foreign coach is not very must nowadays. Wasting of Tax payer's money.

MS : Taken care by many dedicated .. Gopi, Vimal, Anup, Aravind (Bhatt), Ajit Tilak, Chetan,- Anand Pawar, Nikhil, HAP academy, Govardhan etc... Apart from them, now Guru/Parupalli/(SAI Praneeth?)/in couple of years(or after 2028) SK/HSP will take care.

WS : Above MS coaches + Anybody is better than Saina Nehwal..[Looks like she is not motivated take-up now], but if PM/CM motivates/give recognition. Mainly need identify good body (not talent identification) to play badminton at high level (techniques can be taught) at gross root level.

MD : Mainly mental stability(fear) issue for Chirag/Satwick/, even you put any "XYZ" as coach..they may buckle under pressure..
Only solution is : Get marry at the earliest.
Getting into married life will give them good stability to them compared to any (mental, badminton) coaches.

WD/ XD : In indian culture/mentality, going for long time with same pair (to get results) is difficult unless both from same family or either/both from very poor background.

BAI has announced that It was premature to announce Tan Kim Her and indonesian coach as Doubles and singles coach. Because they did not sign the contract yet. BAI is looking for other options as well.

Tanvi patri is playing CM trophy badminton international challenge . Almost all the indian prodigies are playing. Tanvi sharma and Anmol kharb lost in earlier rounds. Now, she defeated Isharani baruah easily who won Telangana international challenge last week ,to enter the finals. This is her first senior tournament final. She is just 13 years old. Recently , she won U15 asian title held in China. And later came back to India to take National U15 and U17 titles.

A lot of times, coaches are a bit different in the way they view having a contract. You never know if they turn up and when they do, you don’t know if they will stay (“for personal reasons “).

While WS finals is going on in the Guwahati masters 2024, the power went out, even after the power came back, the match did not start, no idea what's going on. Commentators are clueless. Disappointed.
